Chapter 24

A month had passed since their honeymoon and Becky's birthday. One morning Becky woke up feeling very queasy and she ran to the bathroom where she got sick. Matt heard her getting sick and got up out of bed. He went over to the bathroom door and opened it. He saw Becky sitting on the edge of the tub. Matt opened up a cupboard that had washcloths in it, pulled one out and then ran cool water on it from the sink. then he folded it and placed it on Becky's forehead.
"Morning Mrs Roach. Not feeling good today?"
"Not really Mr Roach. I think I'm sick with something" said Becky "I've been throwing up for the last half hour."
"Huh you want me to call off work so I can stay here and take care of you and willow?" Matt asked her
"No baby you don't have to do that you need to work" said Becky.
"And your sick babe. Im going to stay home and take care of you. No questions ask. Go lay down in bed and I'll call my boss" said Matt. Becky nodded and got off the tub and went back in their bedroom. She laid down in bed. Matt took out his phone and called his manager. He told him What was going on and Matt was able to take the day off. He put his phone down when he was done talking to his manager. Then he kissed Becky on the forehead.
"I'll be back with some toast and juice for you babe. And I'll go make willow her breakfast and get her to school" Said Matt. "Then I'll call your work and tell them your not coming in"
"Okay hon if your sure" said Becky.
"I'm sure. I love you Mrs Roach" Said Matt.
"I love you too Mattie" said Becky with a small smile. Matt smiled back and put on his bathrobe before he left the bedroom. He got willow up and then went and made breakfast. After willow had her breakfast and she was on the bus to school and called Becky's work Matt made Becky toast and juice and brought them upstairs to her on a tray. He placed the tray down on Becky's lap and she sat up.
She took the juice and took a few sips. "Thank you hon"
"Your welcome love. Do you need anything else?"
Becky shook her head. "No I'll be okay"
"Well let me know if you need anything love" said Matt.
"I will"
He placed his hand on her forehead.
"No fever" he said
"I can take you to the walk in clinic on Wednesday when I have off again if you want" Said Matt
"Yes we can go there Wednesday if this doesn't go away. Thank you love"
"Your welcome Beck" Said Matt. He kissed her cheek. "Now lay down and get some rest I'll go give Callie her breakfast and change her cat litter box and I'll do the cleaning around the house. You rest an relax that's an order missy"
Matt gave her a cheesy grin and Becky giggled.
"Yes sir" said Becky with a salute as a joke. Matt laughed. Becky laid back down after taking a few bites of the toast and Matt got dressed and then left the room.

When it was Wednesday Matt took willow to school and then he drove Becky to the walk in clinic at the hospital. Matt and Becky sat in the waiting room until Becky's name was called. She went in by herself and Matt stayed out in the waiting room waiting for her. Becky only had a few minutes before Dr Barbara came into the room.
"Hello again Becky how are you doing today?"
"Lately not so good"
"What's wrong?"
"Well I've been getting sick every morning. My body feels off, I have cramping in my lower belly, back and legs, my nipples are dark and feel heavy and I had brown discharge coming out of down there" says Becky.
"Sounds like you might be pregnant"
"But I can't be. You told me last time when we got in that car accident that I can't have children again"
"I know what I said honey but I can be wrong. Let's take some urine and a blood test and see Okay" said Dr Barbara.
"Alright" said Becky. Becky went to the bathroom and peed in a cup and then Barbara took some blood from her arm.
"Come back in two days" said Dr Barbara.
She handed Becky a bag of suckers.
"I will"
Becky walked back out into the waiting room. Matt stood up upon seeing her. He kissed her cheek.
"What did the doctor say?"
"Have to wait for the results of a blood test" Becky told him
"Why?" Asked Matt.
"Because she thinks that I'm pregnant."
"But you can't be she said you couldn't have babies anymore because of the accident" said Matt
"I know Matt but doctors can be wrong" said Becky.
"True. When do you have to be back?"
"Two days"
"Okay then we will be here. I'll just work late again like I'm doing today" Said Matt.
"Okay"
They left the clinic. On Friday they came back. Willow had off From school so Beth and John we're watching her. Becky was still nauseous. Matt kisses Becky lightly on the lips just after her name was called and she went into the back room while Matt sat out in the waiting room again. She followed the nurse into the same exam room she had gone in before and she sat down on the bed. A minute later Dr Barbara came into the room.
"Are you feeling any better?"
"No" said Becky
Dr Barbara looked at the test results in her hands and then hugged Becky. "Congrats your pregnant!"
"I'm pregnant?! Are you sure?"
"Yes I'm positive dear you are about 3 weeks along. I want you to take some prenatal vitamins which you can get over the counter and I'll order you some Zantac for your morning sickness" said Dr Barbara. "Then I'll,schedule you for an ultra sound in about a month"
"Okay thanks Dr Barbara" said Becky
"Your welcome" Said dr Barbara. Becky left the room after scheduling for her ultra sound then she went out to the waiting room. She saw Matt and he stood up and he hugged her.
"So what's up?"
"Let go talk out in the car" said Becky.
"Okay" said Matt. She grabbed his hand and he interlocked their fingers. They walked out to their car. When they were inside Becky spoke first.
"Matt I'm pregnant"
"Your pregnant? But the doctor said"
"I know what she said hon but like I said before doctors can be wrong sometimes. But she said I'm about 3 weeks along" Said Becky.
"Oh wow. How do you think we should break the news to my parents?"
"Well we can invite them over for dinner tomorrow night" said Becky
"That sounds good I have tomorrow off" Said Matt. "Do you think Deb and Marvin can watch willow so we can have some mommy and daddy time?"  Matt Said with a grin and wink.
Becky giggled and kissed Matt. "I think they would love to watch her, I'll call and ask" said Becky. Becky dialed Deb and Marvin's number. A few rings and Deb answered.
"Hey Becky how are you?"
"I'm doing good. Hey I was wondering would you and Marvin like to watch willow tomorrow?"
"Sure we'd love to. For how long?"
"All day if you can" Said Matt.
"Sure that's no problem at all. We will pick her up as soon as Marvin is done with his paper route tomorrow morning". See you at about 10"said Deb
"Okay 10 sounds good, see you then Deb and thank you" Said Becky
"Your welcome. Bye" said Deb.
"Goodbye" they hang up. Becky and Matt drove over to Matt's parents house. John was working on his truck and willow was playing a toy when they pulled into the driveway.

"Hi mommy hi daddy" Said willow she ran over to Matt when he got out of the car. He hugged her and then helped her get into the car.
"We came to ask you guys something" Said Matt.
"What's that son?"
"Would you guys like to come to our house tomorrow night for dinner?" Becky asked him.
"Sure I'll let Beth know. Any reason why?"
"No" Becky and Matt said in unison although they were lying. Matt's dad gave them both a look for answering so quickly and in unison.
"Okay then.what will we be having for dinner?"
"I was thinking burgers fries and triple chocolate fudge cake" said Becky.
"That sounds yummy"Said willow
"That sounds good you can count on us being there" Said John
"Great thanks dad" said Matt. "We've got to get going. I've got to be to work"
"Thanks for watching willow for us today" Said Becky
"Alright guys. See you tomorrow night and your welcome"

Becky and Matt drove away. Before Matt went to work he stopped at the store so Becky could get the burgers fries and stuff to make the triple chocolate cake then he took her home. Then he went to work. Becky put their groceries away and then started doing the laundry and cleaning. Callie was laying on her kitty bed when Becky walked in to feed her.she fed her and then went into willows room who was now playing with her toys.
"guess who you get to see and spend the day with tomorrow?" Becky told her after she sat down on willows bed.
'Who?" Asked willow curiously
"Deb and Marvin" said Becky

Willow went back to playing and becky went to the kitchen to start making dinner. Becky made bbq chicken sweet peas and mashed potatoes for dinner. She saved a plate for Matt.
After she and willow ate Becky got willow ready for bed. Then after she was in bed becky did the cleanup locked the doors and then relaxed in the living room watching TV and crocheting till she heard Matt's car pull up into the driveway.
He came into the house a few moments later. "Hey beck I'm home" said Matt
Matt walked into the living room. He walked over to becky and leaned down and they kissed on the lips. "Mm you made bbq chicken for dinner" said Matt tasting her lips off his own.
Becky giggled. "Yes I did your plate of food is in the microwave"said becky
"Okay love"said matt. He went into the kitchen and warmed up his plate of food then he joined his wife in the living room on the couch.
"How was work?"becky asked.
"Good busy but good"
"That's good" said becky. "Did you tell anyone the news?"
"Just my boss" said Matt
"Okay what did he say?"
"He wants me to let him know when you are due and when your maternity leave is so I can take a month off to help you with the baby and he said congratulations" matt told her
"Well tell him thank you for me and that we will let him know when we know"
"I will beck"said matt "how you feeling?"
"Still sicky But that will go away with time" said Becky
Just then patty called Becky's cell phone. Becky answered her phone.
"Hello"
"Hey Becky"
"Hi mommy how are you"
"Good how are you?"
"I'm okay been feeling sick every morning but other than that I'm okay"
"Sick?"
"Yeah..." Becky looked at Matt. He nodded indicating for her that she could tell her mother that she was expecting.
"Are you pregnant?"patty asked
"Yes I am" Said Becky.
"But I thought the doctors said you couldn't have any more babies"
"They did But sometimes they can be wrong mom. I took a pee and blood test and it came back positive. I'm 3 weeeks pregnant. I'm on prenatal-vitamins and I have to be back in a month for an ultra sound"
"Oh wow well congratulations. I'm happy for you guys"
"Thanks mom" said Matt
"Thank you mommy"
"Your welcome. Did you tell matts parents yet?" Asked patty
"No we are telling them tomorrow at dinner" Said Becky.
"Oh okay. Well I've got to get going. I'll let your step dad know about the baby. Do you want me to tell your sister?"
"No I'll tell her"
"Okay well I'll talk. To you later. Have a good night love you guys"
"Love you too mom bye"
"Bye" Becky and her mom hang up.
The next day Deb and Marvin picked up willow in the morning and took her with them to spend the day at the park and they were taking her to the mall with their nephew. Becky waved goodbye and then went back in the house. Matt was still sleeping so she decided to make Matt breakfast in bed. But before she could she felt queasy and went to the nearby bathroom and got sick. After she was done she rinsed her mouth out and then went and made  Matt breakfast. She made pancakes sausages and scrambled eggs.

He looked over at the tray of food on the nightstand. "Did you make me breakfast?"
"Yes I did" Said Becky she handed the tray over to him after Matt sat up in bed.
"But Im not sick or anything"

"So we have a couple of hours to ourselves till your parents get here for dinner. And willow is off with Deb and Marvin" Said Becky.

"Deb and Marvin wanted to watch her today. They took her to the park and the mall. She'll be home in a little while" Said Becky
"Oh that's nice. I'm sure she is having fun" said Hannah
"Do you need any help in the kictchen Becky?" Asked Beth
"Well I was thinking about making a salad with our dinner if you want to help me with that" said Becky
"Sure"
"I'll set the table" said Hannah.
"Thanks Hannah" Said Becky.
"Let's go watch tv while the ladies are finishing up dinner" Said Matt
"Okay son" said John. He and Matt went into the living room while Becky, Hannah and Beth walked back into the kitchen to finish the food. While they were busy making dinner the doorbell rang.
Becky went to answer it. It was Sarah and Mark.
"Hey guys what are you doing here?"
"We came to see you guys but it looks like you have people over" Said Sarah.
"Oh your more then welcome to join us" Said Beth as she came out into the room.
"Hi Beth" Said Sarah.
"Hey" Said Mark. They came in to the house. Becky pulled out two more chairs from the back porch and brought them into the house with the help of Hannah.after the food and the table was done being set then everyone sat down for dinner.
Matt cleared his throat and everyone looked at him.
"Thanks for coming to the house mom and dad and Hannah for dinner. And thanks for being here to Sarah and Mark great to see you guys"Said Matt. "Me and Becky have an announcement to make. As you all know Becky was told when we got in that car accident that she wasn't going to be able to have any more children"
Everyone nodded in understanding remembering what had happened and what the doctor had said.
"Well...Becky is pregnant" Said Matt
"You your pregnant" Said matts mom
"Yes" Said Becky with a smile. "I'm only about 3 weeks along"
"OMG Becky that's so great! I'm so happy for you!" Shouted Sarah happily. She got up form her seat ran around to he table and hugged Becky. Becky hugged her back.
"Thanks Sarah"
"This is so exciting and they are sure your pregnant"said John
"Yes dad they are sure. They did a urine and a blood test. It was positive" said Matt.
"When do you go back in for your first ultra sound?" Asked Hannah
"In a month" Said Becky.
"Well I want one" Said Beth
"Me too"said Sarah
"can I have one?" Asked Hannah
"Yes we will make copies so you can all have one" Said Becky
"When are you guys going to tell willow?" Asked John
Becky and Matt looked at each other. "We can tell her tomorrow" Said Matt.
"I was thinking maybe take her to the park and then store and get things for her so she can understand about becoming a big sister" said Becky.
"That's a good idea babe" said Matt
"She will make a wonderful big sister" Said Beth
"I think so to" Said Becky.
After dinner and everyone went home Deb got to the house and dropped off willow.
"How was she?"
"Oh she was wonderful had a great time with my nephew and us. We got her nice cream and took them to the arcade. She had a fun day" said Deb.
"That's great. Hey listen I got to tell you and Marvin something" said Becky
"What" said Deb.
"What is it mommy?" Asked willow.
Matt came into the room and grabbed willows hand. "Come on willow let's go get you ready for bed while mommy talks to Deb" Said Matt
willow yawned. "Okay daddy" said willow. Willow and Matt headed upstairs. When they were gone Becky and Deb went outside onto the front porch. Marvin got out of the car and came over to them.
"Everything okay?" Asked Marvin.
"Everything is great but I have to tell you guys something" Said Becky
"What's that?" Deb questioned.
"Matt and I are expecting a baby" Said Becky.
"Your pregnant?!omg honey that's so great!" Exclaimed Deb. She hugged becky tightly. Becky hugged her back. Marvin hugged her too.
"Congrats guys We are happy for you" Said Marvin
"And we will continue to watch willow and the baby when you need a sitter" said Deb
"Thanks guys that means so much" Said Becky
Matt came out onto the porch. "Willow is asleep" he said
"Good hon.i just told Deb and Marvin our news" Said Becky
"Congrats bud happy for you guys" said Marvin to Matt as they shook hands.
"Thanks Marvin" Said Matt.
"How far along are you?" Deb Asked
"3 weeks" Said Becky. "I go to my first ultrasound in a month so I'll give you a copy of the baby if you want one"
"Yes please" Said Deb
"And we will be more then happy to watch willow while you and Matt go to your ultrasound" said Marvin
"Thanks guys we appreciate it" Said Matt
"Well we have to get going. I have to be to work tomorrow and Marvin has the later route in the morning" said Deb
"Okay good night guys" said Becky. "And thanks again for watching willow."
"Anytime sweetie" said Deb.
"Good night"

Deb and Marvin got in their car waved goodbye to Becky and Matt and then drove away. Becky and Matt kissed and hugged and then went inside their house and went to bed.
The next day Becky and Matt took willow to the park. She played and had fun with her parents. Matt packed a picnic lunch and they sat on the grass underneath a large tree while eating their lunch.
"Willow honey me and your daddy have something we want to tell you"Said Becky after they were done eating.

"Well you remember when mommy and daddy were in the hospital and Mommy had lost your baby brother or sister that was in mommy's belly before?" Matt Asked her. Willow nodded.

"Well mommy and daddy just found out that mommy is expecting a baby again" Becky told her. Willow jumped up and squealed as loud as she could with delight.
"Yay yay yay! Im going to be a big sister!" She screamed. She jumped up and down and danced all around. Becky and Matt watched her laughing and smiling.
They stood up and willow hugged them both. They hugged her back.
"I'm so happy" Said willow.
"So are we honey. I'm so glad you are happy" Said Becky. "And you know what's even better?"

"We are going to take you to the store so you can get things that will help teach you and show you how to be a big sister" said Matt
"Cool! Well let's go!" Said willow she grabbed both their hands and started heading for the car. Becky laughed and moved he hand so she can pick up their picnic stuff while Matt took willow to the car. They got back in the car and then drove to the store. Becky got willow a baby doll, and books and other things to teach her how to be a big sister. After they were done shopping they finished the day by going out for ice cream and then went home.
Then next Saturday rolled around and Becky and willow were over at Megan and Clayton's house for the day. Matt was working a double so wasn't there to join them but would be back later to pick them up. Clayton was also working so it was just Becky an Megan and the kids.
"So megs I have some news to tell you" Becky Said after Megan made they each got a cup,of coffee and they sat down in Megan's living room.
"What's that sis?" Megan wondered.
"I'm pregnant" Said Becky.
Megan almost choked on her coffee. She looked at her sister confused. "Wait I thought that doctor said that you couldn't have any more babies. I was there"
"Yes I know this. But me and Matt found out just recently that I'm pregnant. They did a urine and a blood test. Both positive" Said Becky
"Oh wow that's so exciting I get to be an aunt again!" Said Megan. She hugged Becky and Becky hugged her sister back. "I'm so happy for you sis"
"Thanks megs" Said Becky.
"I just wish I could say the same thing about Angelica and Tyler" Megan told her.
"Sure you can when they have a baby" Said Becky
"Well they can't have a baby which is the problem. Angelica can't have children. She went and saw a specialist and they said she couldn't have any kids at all" said Megan
"Oh wow poor Angelica" Said Becky
"It's okay though they where telling me that they want to get a surrogate mother or adopt. So I'm sure they will adopt a baby or child soon" Said Megan
"Good I hope so" Said Becky
"Did you tell mom?"
"Yes and I told Deb and Marvin and Matt's parents and Sarah and Mark know" Becky told her.
"What about Willow?"
"Me and Matt told her last weekend and she is thrilled" Said Becky.
"Aww that's so great" said Megan
"Yes it is and we are happy too" Said Becky. "By the way matts birthday is next weekend. Do you guys want to go to the Applebee's for dinner with us Saturday night."
"Yes that sounds great I'll tell Clayton later"said Megan. "And I'll see if May can watch the kids"
"Okay good Deb and Marvin are already watching willow. I asked them the other day while I was at work on break"
"Okay that's Good. Are they going to watch the new baby when he or she gets here?"
"Yes they are. Deb is already making the new baby a blanket" Said Becky.
"Aww" Said Megan.
The next weekend it was Matts birthday. Becky woke up extra early to make Matt his favorite breakfast. Chocolate chip pancakes, sausage, bagels with cream cheese, and scrambled eggs. The smell of the food made Becky nauseas but as soon as she took her Zantac and ate something she was fine. Willow was already at the table eating a bowl of cereal when Matt joined them in the kitchen.
Matt walked over to Becky and she kissed him. "Happy Birthday handsome"
"Thank you beautiful. Yum looks like you made me my favorite breakfast"
"Of course I did love. Today is your special day. Now go and sit down. Breakfast is served" said Becky. Matt smiled and kissed her again on the lips before he sat down with willow at the table. Becky gave him his plate of food and made herself a plate before she joined them. They all ate their breakfast together.
After breakfast and the cleanup was done Deb knocked on the door. Matt answered it.
"Hi Matt Happy Birthday this is from me and Marvin" Said Deb. She added handing Matt over a birthday bag. He opened it and pulled out a Avengers shirt and a black and blue crochet cup cozies that Deb made.
"Thanks Deb" Said Matt
"Your welcome" Said Deb. Willow grabbed her bag and ran over to Deb. She hugged her.
"Hi Deb I'm ready to go" Said willow.
"Okay honey. We are going to have a fun day. Bye Becky Bye Matt have a good day and happy birthday Matt" Said Deb.
"Thanks again Deb have a fun day. Be good willow" said Matt
"Yes willow be a good girl" Said Becky.
"I will mommy and daddy. Bye" said willow
"Bye" they said back. Willow got into Deb and Marvin's car with Deb before they drove away. Becky and Matt went back inside. Matt wrapped his arm around Becky's waist.
"so we have the house to ourselves once again. No willow and it's my birthday. I wonder what's in store for me" Said Matt.
"Well we can go have some sex and relax and then later we will have dinner at Applebee's with Megan Clayton and your parents"said Becky.
"Sounds like a good idea to me" Said Matt.

"Race you to the bedroom" said Matt

Later on that day Becky and Matt got ready to go Applebee's for matts birthday dinner. They closed and locked their house and got inside the car. Matt drove the car and he and Becky held hands on the way there. They got to Applebee's and Matt's parents and Megan and Clayton were outside waiting for them.
"Hey guys" Becky and Matt Said after they got out of the car. Beth and John hugged them.
"Happy birthday son" said John.

Hannah hugged her brother next.

"Thanks everyone" said Matt. They all went inside and went over to their table that had been reserved for them. Becky and matt sat by each other next to Megan and Clayton. And Hannah, Beth and John sat across from them. They all talked and gave Matt his birthday presents. Megan and Clayton got Matt some movies and a shirt, Matt's parents gave him and Becky a gift card for a restaurant and Hannah got her brother a hat.
"Thank you all for my birthday presents" Said Matt after their food arrived and they all started eating.
"But where's your presents to Matt Becky?" Asked Megan
"He's going to get them later when we are at home in bed" Said Becky with a smile. Matt kissed her on the lips and she kissed him back.
Later that evening after everyone had went back home and willow was already in bed asleep Becky and Matt were in their bedroom laying in bed after making love to each other. Becky grabbed Matt's gifts that were under the bed and handed them to him.
"These are for you. Happy birthday Mattie" Said Becky. Matt and Becky French kissed and then Matt opened his gifts. He opened the one from willow which was a card and a keychain with his and willows picture on it and it said TO MY DADDY I LOVE YOU. Then he opened Becky's gifts. First was the card that had a husband and cat wife couple on it and inside it read

Matt kissed Becky after reading her card. Then he opened his presents. inside the box was a shirt that said "worlds most greatest Husband and Dad" and he got a new watch,  and a keychain with his and Becky's picture on it from Niagara Falls. On the back it said "I LOVE YOU MATT". Becky and Matt kissed and hugged.
"Thank you for my birthday presents Beck I love them" Said Matt
"Your welcome handsome glad you love them" Said Becky
"I do and I love you so much" Said Matt
"I love you too" They French kissed again. It didn't take long before the kiss turned to something more and they were making love again. Afterwards they fell asleep in each other's arms.
Four months go by Becky and Matt are at beckys ultra sound appointment to find out what they were having. Becky was laying on the exam table and Matt was sitting next to her. A nurse came in.
"Hello my name is Gretchen. Let's see how that little one is doing" said Gretchen.
Gretchen made sure the computer was set up for the ultrasound then she put this cool gel like substance all over Becky's stomach. Then she took a microphone camera like tool and put it on beckys belly. Becky and Matt looked at the screen and could see their little one moving around.
"Oh cool is that the baby" Said Matt
"Yes honey" said Becky.
"Well it looks like the baby is doing well and growing at an excellent rate" said Gretchen.
"That's great" Said Becky.
"Awesome" Said Matt smiling.
"Would you like to know the sex of your little one?" Gretchen asked them. Becky and Matt looked at each other. Then they smiled at Gretchen and nodded.
"Yes please" They Said in unison.
Gretchen moved the tool more for a few moments then smiled. "Looks like you guys are having a baby boy"
Becky had tears in her eyes the moment Gretchen Said boy. She couldn't believe she was having a boy. Now she had her girl and a boy. Matt also had tears Brimming in the corner of his eyes also. He wanted a boy too.
"Oh Matt we are having a boy" said Becky. Matt smiled and leaned down and kissed Becky on the lips. Then he kissed her belly where the baby was and he kicked at Matt. Matt smiled when he felt the baby kick him.
"I'm so glad we are having a boy Beck" Said Matt.
"Me too" said Becky.
"Do you have any names picked out?" Asked Gretchen. While she took pictures of the baby inside beckys womb.
"I was thinking about the name Joel Christopher for a boy" Said Becky. "I had it picked out since high school if I ever were to have children"
"I love that name Beck" Said Matt smiling from ear to ear.
"You do?" Becky looked at him. Matt nodded and Becky pulled him in for another kiss this one a little more passionately. They pulled away blushing and smiling.
"Well then mister Joel Christopher your parents will see you in a couple more months but for now here are some pictures of the ultrasound" said Gretchen. She handed Matt and Becky each a couple slides of the ultrasound. Becky and Matt smiled and placed them in a special folder. Becky put the folder in her purse. Gretchen cleaned her off and then she got up from the table after fixing her shirt.
"Thanks so much Gretchen for letting us see our baby" Said Matt.
"Oh your welcome it's my job"said Gretchen. "Have a good day"
"Have a a good day bye" said Becky.
"Goodbye" Said Matt.
"Bye" said Gretchen. Becky and Matt left the hospital and headed home. Sarah was at the house with willow when they got there.
"Hi guys were back" Said Matt when they walked into their home.
Sarah and willow were playing a game in the living room when they walked in. Willow ran over to her mom and hugged her.
"Hi mommy" Said willow. Then she hugged Matt.
"Hi daddy" Said willow.
"Would you like to know if your having a baby brother or sister willow?"
Willow nodded smiling. "You are having a baby brother" said Matt.
Willow squealed and cheered happily. "A baby brother oh boy this is great! I'm so happy!" Said willow.
"Aw congrats becky I knew you wanted a boy" Said Sarah as she and Becky hugged.
"Thanks Sarah. And yes I did want a boy" said Becky.
"I did too" Said Matt.
"cool well I'm happy for you guys that you have your boy on the way and I can't wait til, he's here"
"Us either" said Becky.
"When do you want to have the baby shower?"
"How about in February?" Asked Becky.
"Okay That sounds good. I'll help you plan it" said Sarah.
"Okay" said Becky. They started planning and talking about the baby shower. After they talked for awhile Sarah left.
Christmas morning came and Becky Matt and willow were going over to Matt's parents house for Christmas. When they arrived there Matt knocked on The door. He Becky and willow decided to color coordinate their clothes. Matt was wearing black slacks and a red long sleeved shirt, Becky was wearing a red dress that hugged her hips and curves beautifully and willow was wearing a black and red Christmas dress with matching shoes and her hair was put up in a Christmas bow. Everyone greeted each other and hugged. Matt's dad was dressed as Santa again and Matt's mom and sister were elves. Matt's brother and his wife, Hannah and the kids were there also all of them wearing Christmas sweaters.
"We brought a apple pie" Said Becky holding a pie in her hands.
"Here bring it into the kitchen Becky" Said Beth.
"Okay" Said Becky. Becky nodded and followed her mother in law into the kitchen. Willow went over and started playing Christmas games with Matt's niece and nephews.
Matt sat down in the living room with his dad and brother.
When Becky returned to the living room Matt stood up and grabbed beckys arm. She looked at him confused.
"I want to give you your gift before dinner" Said Matt.
"Hon we can exchange gifts when everyone else does" Said Becky
"I know but I want to give you yours now" said Matt.
"Okay"Said Becky. Matt handed her over a medium sized box that he green and red paper on it. Becky tore off the paper and opened the box. Inside the box was a heart shaped locked on a silver chain. Inside the locket was a picture of her and Matt when they first got together all those years ago.
"Oh Mattie it's so beautiful"Said Becky. Becky examined the locked and noticed it had a intricately designed rose on the front of it and on the back it was engraved with the words I LOVE YOU on it.
"That picture that's inside there was the first picture that we took when we first got together. And I knew then that we would be together forever" said Matt.
"Oh matt Thank you baby I love my present" Said Becky. Matt smiled and they kissed before she turned around and he put the locket around her neck.
"Your welcome Beck I'm glad you love it" Said Matt. Becky opened up a bag and then handed Matt his Christmas present.
Matt opened it revealing a new jacket and a wallet with his and Becky's picture on it.
"Wow thanks Beck" Said Matt,
"Your welcome" Said Becky. Matt tried on his jacket. John came out into the living room and smiled.
"That's a really nice jacket son" said John
"Thanks dad it's from Becky" Said Matt
"Nice good job Becky" Said John
"Thanks" Said Becky. She went out into the kitchen and Beth and Hannah saw the locket.
"Oh that's beautiful Becky" Said Beth
"Is that from my brother?" Asked Hannah
"Yes it's my Christmas present from him" Said Becky.
"Aww" said both Beth and Hannah at the same time. They all finished getting Christmas dinner around. After the food was done and the table was set everyone grabbed a plate of food and sat down and ate together. Then they all opened presents. Willow got clothes, toys, two new pair of shoes, and even a homemade blanket from Hannah and Beth. After awhile Becky looked out the window and noticed it was snowing outside.
"Oh everyone look it's snowing outside" Said Becky
"Can I go outside and play in it mommy" Said willow
"Us too" said matts nephews and niece.
All the adults nodded and then Becky helped willow get on her coat, mittens and scarve she got for Christmas. Becky got on her coat and scarf and mittens on and so did Matt and Matt's nephews and niece. Then they all went outside to play in the snow.
They had a snowball fight and made snowmen and snow angels in the snow. Soon it was getting dark and cold so they all went in and John made a fire in his new gas locked fire pit that Becky and Matt got them. Becky made the kids hot cocoa and alcohol hot cocoa for the adults.
Soon it was time to go home. Willow had fallen asleep on the couch so Matt carried her and her stuff out to the car. Once she was secured inside and their things were in the trunk they said goodbye to everyone. Then they got in their car and drove away.
