LOVE ME LIKE YOU DO

Chapter 7

After a few hours of getting our hair done, nails trimmed and shined and even beautified by the best makeup cosmetics girls in the whole store Megan and our friends and I were all ready to go. I looked at myself in the mirror. "Wow I look amazing" was all I could say
"you really do look amazing sis" said Megan
"Veronica did a fantastic job on your hair and makeup" said Sarah as she smiled at me. I looked around at my friends that stood by me and all of them looked beautiful. Even Sarah who even got her hair re dyed.
"You let them re dye your hair?" I said looking at my best friend now red headed curly locks.
"Yep sure did" said Sarah. She grinned at herself in the mirror. She really did love dying her hair.
"I told you guys Veronica was a professional. She use to work for a celebrity we all know" said Erin as were all getting ready to leave.
"Who?" Me, Megan, Bethany and Sarah said all at once while turning to look at Erin with wide eyes.
"Martina McBride" was Erins reply. We all stopped dead in our tracks. Martina McBride? As in the country singer? As in one of my favorite country women singers? I put a hand to my forehead. All of a sudden I felt lightheaded. My hair and makeup was done by a professional stylist that use to work for Martina McBride. Ahhh!
"Is it true how do you know this?" Megan questioned her.
"Look yourself" said Erin. We all followed Erin's gaze and looked up at a,picture above the exit of the salon. And in the picture frame was a much younger Veronica and a younger Martina McBride.
"That is so awesome!!" exclaimed Sarah
"Yeah it is" I said
"Wow she knew Martina McBride and didn't say a word to you Becky" said Megan.
"that's okay megs. She doesn't have to tell us everything about her personal life" I said. "Sure it's nice she got to work for Martina McBride and I'm sure she loved doing it to but it's none of our business"
"Yeah true but still I wonder why she doesn't work for her now" pondered Bethany.
"The last I knew she didn't work for her was because of family reasons" said Erin. "But I don't know if that's true or not. Either way that's still pretty cool"
"Family reasons?" Said Bethany
Erin shrugged her lean shoulders. "That's what she said. Anyways let's get going I'm hungry and want to go get some shopping done"
"Good idea Erin let's go" said Sarah.
We all headed for the door. I turned and looked at Veronica who was putting the hair supplies away that she used. She waved at me.
"Bye Becky and girls have a great rest of your day!" She shouted before we left.
"Bye!" We all said in unison. "And thank you!"
Then we left the salon and got back inside Sarah's car. She drove us over to the mall that was right down the road. She parked at the front of the mall not to far away from the doors. We got out of the car and started heading for the front doors of the Arnot Mall. I saw Megan turn and crack her head to side.
"Megan what are you looking at?" I asked her
"Nothing"Megan said "lets just get inside I'm starving"
She grabbed me by the wrist and pulled me into the mall behind her, Sarah, Bethany and Erin. We walked inside the mall down long hallways. We went up the escalators stopped at a Burger King and got lunch. Then we all sat down at a big table and ate. After that we went back down the escalator to the stores. We agreed to meet at the front of the mall when we were all done shopping at around 6 o clock. Me Sarah and Erin stopped by Bath and Body Works while Megan and Bethany walked into another store that was next door. I watched them go before I started smelling all of my favorite lotions and body washes.

Megan looked at Bethany when she grabbed her arm. "What is it Bethany?" She Asked her friend
"What were you looking at outside the mall before we came in?"
"oh that. Well don't tell Becky But I could swear I saw Matts car right out front. That's why I hurried Becky inside because I didn't want her to see it"
"Matt is here?"
"Yes"
"Doing what?"
"My guess buying Becky her engagement ring"
Bethany stopped walking and looked at Megan surprised. She looked at her. "Matt is going to propose to Becky?"
Megan nodded happy for her sister. "How do you know that?" Asked Bethany
"Oh..well it's been very hard keeping it to myself and Im not really suppose to tell anybody. Only very few of us know. But Matt is asking Becky to marry him. He told me and Clayton a week or so ago. I promised him that I wouldn't say anything. So you can't say anything either especially not to my sister" said Megan
"Oh wow that's great news!! Becky is going to be so happy!" Shrieked Bethany with delight.
"Shh I know I know. That's why you can't say anything. We are suppose to keep her busy and distracted today. Matt's proposing to Becky tomorrow night. Matt already has it all planned out. He's going to have someone secretly take the picture and video of the proposal and it's going to be right in front of the Falls after dinner. It's going to be so romantic" said Megan
"Wow I'm actually kind of jealous" Said Bethany
"Me too" said Megan. "but remember don't say anything to Becky."
"Okay I promise I won't say a word" Bethany said putting her hand over her heart. "So are you going to throw a proposal party for Becky?"
"I was thinking bout it. But it won't be till the Friday before Becky leaves" Said Megan
"oh okay. Can I help?"
"of course you can. Oh and don't worry about telling this to Sarah and Erin they already knew about this too. I knew about it first but I didn't know he was going to tell Erin and Sarah too"
"How come they know?"
"Um Hello it was Erin's idea to send Becky to the Hair Hut. Veronica and Erin are cousins after all. She just didn't say anything about it because not everyone is suppose to know"
"Wow. That makes sense then"
"Yeah that lady who was doing my hair Janet almost spilled the beans. Good thing Veronica stopped her. I would have said something too if it was wasn't for Veronica"
"Wow. So how come Sarah knows?"
"Beckys best friend I mean your her best friend too"
"One of them" Bethany pointed out.
"Right one of them. Anyways for obvious reasons Sarah had to know about what was going on" Megan Said. "Anyways I'm so happy for my sister she is going to have the best weekend ever"
"Yeah she is.  Come on let's go see if she needs help picking out an outfit to wear tomorrow" Said Bethany dragging Megan back out of the store they were in. They headed across the hall to Bath and Body Works where Becky was inside buying some new lotion and body wash. Becky, Sarah and Erin left the store after buying some stuff and met Megan and Bethany outside of it.
Beckys POV
"Look megs I got vanilla scented body wash and lotion for Matt. His favorite" I said with a smile when my sister walked over to us.
"That's great Becky" said Megan
"I told her to get it" Sarah said with a grin
"Yeah she asked me what Matt's favorite flavor was and I told her vanilla and a found these. I only spent four bucks in there. Everything is on sale. Go get some lotion and stuff" I told Megan.
"Okay" said Megan she ran inside and bought her favorite kind of lotion and body wash too. After she returned we started walking again through the mall. We stopped by my other favorite store the Music store and of course I had to run in and play a few songs on the piano.
"She's not bad" said Erin. "I haven't heard Becky play the piano since elementary school when you and her did that song for the talent show"
"That was in 7th grade Erin" said Megan
"Oh right sorry but still she really isn't bad" said Erin
"No she's not I love listening to Becky play the piano" said Sarah.
"You know I can hear you guys" I said as I started playing No Air by Rihanna on the big black beautiful Yamaha piano. I always wanted a big piano like this. Ever since I was a kid. I do have my own big piano but it's stuck in our storage unit in Arizona until I am able to move to get it out of there. 'Someday when I have my own house I'll be able to have it in the house in its own special place' I thought.
"Come on Becky lets go to JCPennys to get you a new outfit to wear tomorrow"Said Megan.
"Okay" I Said. I stopped playing the piano and left the store. I followed my sister and friends down the long hallways of the mall till we finally reached JCPennys. We walked inside and went right t9 the clothes. I searched through all my sizes in the pants and shirts and dresses. I found two cute outfits to wear for the weekend but I was still looking for the right outfit to wear for tomorrow night. I don't know why but I wanted whatever outfit I chose to be perfect,
Finally after an hour and a half walking around I finally out the perfect light green strapless spaghetti low v cut dress and it was hanging in the window by the back exit doors. Sarah climbed onto the window and managed to get the dress down for me.
She handed it to me when she got back down. "How much is it Becks" Said Bethany
"$50" I Said
"For a dress?" said Megan
I nodded. "Yep it's not on sale like the other clothes I'm getting" I said. "But it's perfect it's my color it's the kind of the style that I like and it's my size too. But yet I don't know if I want to spend $50 on a dress"
I sighed sadly. "Becky how often do you get a dress that is one you like your favorite kind of style and is the only one in the whole store and is your size?" Asked Sarah
"Not often" I replied
"Then get it!" said Erin
"Yeah get it becky it's beautiful" Said Bethany
"And you know for a fact that Matt is going to love it on you"said Megan
"True" I said. I smiled at them then threw the dress in my cart. "I'm getting it"
"Yay!" cheered Sarah and Bethany
"Matt is going to love it" Erin said giving me a hug
"You need some lingerie to go with that hang on" Said Megan and she took off down the aisle to the bras and underwear
Megan came back over a few minutes later with matching lingerie in my size. And two black ones  for Saturday and Sunday.
"Just So you ladies know this lingerie will not stay on me long this weekend"I said and blushed. Knowing Matt he's not going to keep it on me very long. Hehe
"Well get it anyways" Said Megan
"Okay"I Said. We went up the the checkout counter and I paid for the items I had in my cart. Then I grabbed my purchases in bags and we left the mall. We all piled back into Sarah's car and she drove Megan, Erin and Bethany back home. Then me and Sarah went back to her house.
