Chapter 26

Becky and Matt got ready to go. Becky changed Joel and got him ready and then she got settled into the wheelchair. Matt rolled Becky out of the hospital and over to his car. He helped her into the car after hooking up and placing Joel safely into his new car seat. Then he got in after putting their bags in the car. He drove them to Beth and Johns house who were watching Willow.
They arrived at Matt's parents house and got out of the car. Becky carries Joel inside. Willow was sitting in the living room on the floor with Matt's nephews.
"Hi guys" they said when they walked in.
"Mommy! Daddy!" Willow said excitedly and ran over to Matt and Becky. Matt hugged her and kissed the top of her head.
"Hi willow we have someone we like you to meet" Said Matt. Becky went over and sat down on the couch with Joel cradled in her arms. Willow went over and sat down next to her. Willow looked at the baby in her moms arms curiously.
"Is that my new baby brother?" Willow Asked
"Yes it is. His name is Joel" Said Becky
"What do you think?" Asked Matt
"He's so tiny. Can I hold him?" Willow said
"Of course" Becky carefully handed Joel to Willow. Matt showed her how to support his head and hold him. Willow smiled down at her new baby brother.
"He's so cute" Said willow.
"Yes he is. You are going to be a wonderful big sister and mommy's special helper" said Becky. She smiled at her daughter and willow smiled back before having her attention to Joel. Joel looked up at her and gave her a look that almost resembled a smile.
"I'm your big sister Willow, Joel. I love you" Said willow.
Matt took pictures of willow with Joel and then of Becky, Joel and Willow. Then Matt's nephews wanted to hold the baby and he took their pictures. Hannah got to the house and was very happy to see Joel.
"OMG hes so cute. Let me hold him" Said Hannah. She sat down in a chair and Matt took Joel from Becky and then placed him in Hannah's arms. Hannah cradled her nephew and hummed a lullaby. He was soon asleep in her arms.
Beth and John held Joel next and took pictures with him and Hannah. Soon Joel woke up and cried and Becky took him to the back room to feed and burp him. Willow went and watched on curiously.
"Does it hurt?" Willow asked
"No honey it doesn't This is how he eats" Becky told her.
"Oh. Will I be able to feed him a bottle sometime?" Willow pondered.
"Of course" replied Becky with a smile.
"Good. I love him mommy. I'm going to protect him and be the best big sister" Said willow.
"I know you will honey and I promise you and me will have special days together where I just spend time with you ok" Becky Said
Willow nodded and smiled. "Okay mommy" Said willow. Joel was finished eating so Becky burped him. He let out a small burp and willow giggled. Then Matt came into the room.
"Hey willow the boys want you to play a game with them out in the living room" said Matt.
"Okay" said willow. She ran out of the room. Matt came over and smiled down at Joel who was now asleep in beckys arms.
"He's just so tiny" said Matt
"He'll get bigger" Becky Said
"I know I just still can't believe we had a baby together"Said Matt
"I know. I've wanted this and to be married to you and have a life with you for a long long time" Becky told him
"Me too Beck. It makes me wonder what else life has in store for us" Matt Said with a smile.
"And whatever it has in store for us I'm glad I get to share it with you" Becky Said whole heartedly.
Matt gazed lovingly at his wife. "Theres no one else I rather share it then with you Becky. I love you so much" he said putting a hand on her cheek and cradling it in his palm.
"I love you too Matt. No one loves me like you do" She stared back at him the same loving look in her eyes.
"And no one loves me like you do" Said Matt with a big smile. They leaned in and kissed passionately on the lips. And as the years went by and willow and Joel grew up and went on their own ways no one ever did love like Becky and Matt. They had a love that no one could break. They had a love that was so powerful and so strong they knew know matter what life threw at them their love for each other conquered it all. THE END
