LOVE ME LIKE YOU DO

Chapter 21

The next day Becky and Matt were able to go home or back to Sarah's. They got clean fresh clothes on and Matt helped Becky and didn't leave her side till she was comfortable and finally in a wheel chair to go home. Sarah came and picked them up and Matt and Sarah helped Becky into the car. Mark was back at the house with willow. Matt's car was at the body shop thanks to Matt's dad helping to pay for it to get fixed. Sarah made burgers and fries for them for lunch knowing they were going to be exhausted from the accident and being at the hospital.
Over the next week Becky got use to being in a wheel chair and moving her leg the best she could. She had physical therapy for it on fridays and the nurse came to the house instead of her going to the hospital. She also had to check Beckys other injuries to make sure she was healing properly. But Becky got bored being in the wheel chair and was mad and frustrated when she tried to do simple tasks and couldn't or could but it was very difficult. Matt helped her every day until he called up Walmart and told them he wasn't going to Arizona. They told him if he wanted to work as an assistant manager there was a position opened. He took it.
"Are you sure about me taking this job?" Matt Asked Becky when they were sitting on Sarah's porch watching willow play in the yard on Saturday afternoon. He and Becky were sitting on the porch swing. He had his arm wrapped around her shoulders.
"Yeah I'm okay with it hon" said Becky. "One of us needs to work. One of us at least can for the most part. I know I can and I want to but it's the doctors that don't want me working till I'm healed. I hate this"
She leaned her head back in frustration and closed her eyes. Matt moves her closer to him and she laid her head down on his chest. He rubbed her arm and shoulder.
"I know you do love. I'm going to work my butt off and I'm going to save our money the best we can and then we are going to get our own place" Said Matt. She looked at him. She smiled and took her hand and touched his face. She leaned in and kissed him on the lips gently. Just a sweet thankful kind of kiss grateful that she had him.
"I love you so so much" Said Becky
"I love you too Becky. I will take care of you and willow and make sure you guys are happy. You both are my whole world" Matt Said and he kissed her again on the lips. She kissed him back before the pulled away and sat there in the swing wrapped in each other's arms.
Later on that evening Angelica, Tyler, and Aunt Sharon stopped by to see Becky Matt and willow. Sarah and Mark went out on a date so they let Matt make a dinner for everyone. He made mashed potatoes and meatloaf with green beans and a chocolate cake.
Becky sat in a chair with her leg up willow played on the floor with a few toys that mark got her from the Salvation Army and everyone else sat down on the couch.
"I'm really sorry about everything cuz" Said Angelica.
"It's okay cuz" I Said. She sighed and looked down at her cast. "I'm just..." she looked up and tried to stop her tears that wanted to come out.
Aunt Sharon chose at that moment to get off from the couch and hug Becky. "Shh honey I know it's okay. You don't deserve this. But just think you were able to have a baby you have willow. And maybe someday you and Matt can adopt. It will be okay"
"Me and Tyler are going to adopt someday" Said Angelica.
"Yeah so you guys are kind of like us" Said Tyler
"Yeah we kind of are. But I didn't want it to be like this. I didn't want to have a broken leg and to loose a baby. That's not the way everything was suppose to go" Said Becky. "We were suppose to come back from the hotel after the wedding pack and leave for Arizona. Get there and actually start out lives. And have a family of four. Now I have to give up my apartment, Willow has to change schools and I have to go through all that crap, loose my job that I loved, and ugh!" Becky said and put her head in her hands and arms. She started crying again. Aunt Sharon hugged her and rubbed her back as she cried.
"Becky Becky it's okay calm down. You and Matt will get through this I promise" said aunt Sharon
Matt came over and aunt Sharon moved so he could hug his wife and hold her. He sat on the arm of the chair and wrapped his arms around Becky. She cried on his shoulder.
"I wish my mom was here" Becky Said
"I know hon but we will see her next summer" Said Matt
"I want to see her now" Becky wailed. "I need her here now"
"Shh shh love it's okay" Said Matt he rubbed her shoulders and back and held her close to him. He kissed her head and cheek before he got back up and walked back into the kitchen. They all talked for awhile before dinner was done. Then they all ate and talked some more till Angelica Tyler and Aunt Sharon left.
