   "So you've finally arrived."

I turned around and stared at the man in front of me, he hadn't been there before. My eyes narrowed, and I peered around, trying to find any type of trap. After finding nothing, I turned back to the man.

   "I suppose I have."

Easily, I could hear the soft chuckle. The man gestured forward, a large smile on his face, almost as if he was amused about something...

The first challenge hadn't been much of a problem, steering clear of the electric walls and killing off the creature hadn't been much of a hassle. However, after I had gotten through, they really out my brain to the test, and it was just plain puzzles.

I had left them solved, and I knew that the others would catch up pretty fast. Besides, how would this be fun if I didn't get my opponents on the right track?

My footsteps grew louder as I walked forward, the grassy dirt trail turning into a stone one. I knew that most likely, everyone was okay, and that this creature of theirs hadn't caused them harm. But for some odd reason, I had a rather sickly feeling of Arlo and Isen, just a feeling...

"So," the man spoke again, "You have finished for now, and if you wish, you can stay here and wait for the others." He grinned, "If not, you have the option of going back to help a team."

My breath caught, and I contemplated the idea. He didn't necessarily say that I would be paired up with a team I wanted, but still, the chance that I could help someone was my purpose.

    I was Altruistic after all.

"Okay," I turned to face the man leaning against the mazes walls. Seems as if this part of the fence wasn't charged electrically...

Before I could think, or even say something else, the room around me got blurry. The vines France seemed to get dimmer and dimmer, and I swear I could feel a nauseous sensation in the pits of my stomach.

      "W-what?"

When I opened my eyes once again, I sat up, forgetting about the dizzy feeling I would receive. Shakily, I stood up, and when I looked around, only saw green. It looked exactly like the first task had been, and I assumed I was at the beginning of someone's task.

"Hello!" My voice rang out, echoing against the walls, and leaving no room for silence. I began immediately to sprint, feeling the need for some type of exercise.

After taking a few turns, I noticed that this was getting me nowhere. And that if I truly wanted to find someone, I was going to need to stay in the same place. So, dashing right back where I had been (or at least I hoped) I stood there, waiting.

It took quite a bit, but before long, I heard panting. The sound of footsteps scurrying on the trail made me snap back to focus, and I looked around.

      "Is anyone there?"

Surprisingly, it wasn't my voice who asked, and immediately recognized that voice to match Insidious. And Insidious's partner was...

     Oh, Defamatory.

I began walking to the sound of the voices, and sighed when I caught view of the two of them. They looked rather disoriented, but not harmed in anyway. Were they fleeing from the monster?

"Wait..." Insidious pointed a finger at me, waving it around. "How are you here? It says that you completed the first task."

"I did," I told her confidently, "And I was given the decision whether to help a team or not. As you can see, I did t exactly choose what team to help."
