I turned my head, still in the hold of Lucas. I faced Zeke and pulled away from him, he resisted for a second before complying. Zeke upon noticing my attention was on him ran up the stairs- I would say even faster than Lucas. He was zooming towards my open arms, he hugged me tightly. To the extent that he lifted me up in the air.

His hold was tight, so tight I couldn't hold in the sharp wince that escaped my lips. He quickly loosened his grip and my feet touched the floor, I spared a glance towards Lucas expecting some sort of anger but only seeing concern as he pushed Zeke away.

"Oh shit, I'm sorry." Zeke exclaimed as he moved to the side.

Lucas turned my head to face him instead of Zeke's, "What's wrong?" He looked over my face, then his eyes dropped to examine the rest of me.

The floorboards creaked as Dolores poked her white head out of the room, Mateo was already out of the room, his angry eyes focused at Zeke as he marched towards him.

"We took as much care as we could of her, Alpha. But you should really take Dawn to the hospital." She said, her worried eyes taking in me.

"Ompf." I heard Zeke groan, as he hunched over. His arms came down to clutch his stomach as Mateo had his fists raised.

"Salaud." Mateo muttered, his fist turned into a pointed finger. "Don't hurt my Luna."

(bitch?? idk the exact translation)

Zeke glanced down at Miriam, who looked down to the floor- most likely ashamed of her son as I laughed. "The hell's wrong with this kid?"

No one but me paid Zeke any attention- all their focus was on me.

"Let's go." Lucas said, slipping his head under my shoulder.

"Home?" I asked I watched as his eyes shown at me calling the castle my home.

He shook his head, but his eyes were still bright. "First to the hospital, then home."

Dolores limped towards Zeke in a run, grabbing his arm and looping hers with his. "Not without me!"

I was sitting up on my bed, with wide eyes as I watched as the IV bag and delivered water into my arm. Zeke was sitting next to Dolores eating some chocolate pudding, as the three of them watched over me. I slowly turned my head, my eyes meeting three different pairs.

"Hi." I said, not knowing what else to say- the quiet hospital room was making me feel uncomfortable.

Zeke swallowed quickly, licking his lips before responding. "Hello."

"Alright," Dolores said noticing something that Zeke hadn't, getting off the chair slowly, using Zeke as support. "Come on Ezekiel, let's leave these two alone- you're almost out of pudding too."

He nodded before shoving the last spoonful into his mouth. He got up, holding Dolores' hand as they both left the room.

"Bye." Zeke said as he opened the door. "Don't do anything I wouldn't- the hospital walls are verrryy thin."

Lucas' head dropped into his hands as my face warmed up as he shut the door- his laugh echoing off the walls of the room, "Oh my god."

He chuckled, before dragging his chair towards my bed. He placed it close enough to give me some space, but close enough to let me know that he was right there.
