• Kaye POV •
"Bye Leo." I said. "Bye Kaye." He said hugging me. I went back to the house and walked inside.
The guys were all watching football. I said hey before going to the kitchen. Madison and Jordan were laughing, while they cooked.
"Hey." Madison said. I gave her a simple wave, grabbing a water. "We're doing Mexican tonight." She said.
"Yum." I said and walked out. I sat next to Matthew and leaned my head on him.
"I missed your scent." I told him. "What is my scent?" He chuckled. "Vanilla." I said. He smiled and kissed my forehead.
"I missed everything about you." He told me.
I stood up and held my hand out for him. He took my hand and we walked to his room.
I went through his draw and found a pair of sweatpants. I grabbed them and under the sweatpants was a picture of me.
It was when I was laughing about something stupid. "I've changed since this picture." I said showing him. "I remember that day." He smiled.
I smiled and set it back down. I changed into his sweats and we went back to the living room.
"The foods done." Jordan said. All the boys got up and I stayed sitting down. "Are you not going to eat?" Matthew asked. "They probably poisoned my plate." I said.
He chuckled, "they wouldn't do that."
"I don't want to eat." I shrugged. "Come on, there's a really good pizza place down the street." He said. "I'm to lazy to walk." I groaned.
"I'll carry you." He said. "No. I'll walk." I laughed. I got up and put on my black toms. I grabbed my phone and Matthew grabbed his things.
"Where are you guys going?" Cameron asked. "Matthews going to take me to a pizza place." I said. "You love tacos." Nash said.
"No thank you." I mumbled, looking away. "Wow." Jordan rolled her eyes. I shrugged and Matthew took my hand. "We'll be back."
We walked out of the house and started walking down the street. "let's take the beach way." I said. He nodded and we walked onto the beach.
"What have you been up to?" I asked him. "Nothing really. I finished school, then I moved to California to do things." He shrugged.
"I've been seeing the things you guys have been doing." I said. "Why did you cut everyone out?" He asked. "What do you mean?" I asked.
"After you moved back in with your parents you didn't talk to anyone." He said. "Oh." I sighed.
He stopped walking and looked at me. "What happened? It wasn't like you to do that." He said. "Everything changed when I got back." I said.
"How?" He asked. "I don't want to talk about it if you don't mind." I said. "It's fine." He said. I nodded and we walked onto the pier.
We walked I to the pizza place and there weren't many people there. We sat down and he looked at me. He smiled and I blushed looking down.
"It's so good seeing you Kaye." He smiled. "It's been forever, I didn't even know you were coming down." He said.
"For good, actually." I said. "What?" He asked. "It's not just for summer." I said. "Oh, is there a reason you're out here?" He asked.
"I've always wanted to live in California." I said. "I remember, that's always been your plan." He said.
"So are we going to go out or what?" I asked. "Like party?" He asked. "Well my birthday is in two days and I'll be eighteen. So I want to party." I said.
"I'll take you partying." He smirked.
(AN: I know I already put she's eighteen, but she's really about to be eighteen)

When we got home the house was quiet and the lights were turned off. We walked quietly and Matthew hit the edge of the wall.
I started laughing really hard and he whined. We tried being quiet, but it didn't work out.
"Stop laughing!" He whined. I shook my head and continued to laugh. He started tickling me and I started laughing harder.
"Matthew stop!" I yelled. "Will you stop laughing?" He asked. I nodded and he stopped. I started laughing at him again and ran to his room.
I jumped on his bed and he closed his door. He laid beside me and I turned over facing him.
"I love you." I smiled.
"I know." He smirked. I laughed and slapped his chest. He kissed my cheek and we started to fall asleep.
• Next Morning •
I woke up and Matthew was still sound asleep. I smiled and got up. I put my hair in a bun and went to the kitchen.
I heard voices and I looked over to see Hayes quietly speaking on the phone. "I want to talk to her, but I don't know what to say." I heard him.
I grabbed the orange juice from the fridge and poured me a glass. "Come on Taylor, help me out." He raised his voice.
I put the orange juice back, closing the fridge door loudly. He jumped and saw me. "I gotta go." He hung up.
I finished my orange juice and he walked in.
"Can we talk?"
