• Hayes POV •

"He's gonna be put down soon." I heard the doctors tell Mom and Dad. "Can't you just wait a little longer." mom said.

"It's been almost two weeks now, I'm sorry Mrs. Floyd." the doctor said. My mom started to cry again.

I've tried several times to wake up, but I can't and I don't know how to.

"Hayes?" I heard.

It was Kaye.

I don't know how long I've been in a coma, but Kaye has been here with me through it all.

"I don't know if you can hear me, but if you can.... please wake up, for me and if you can't do that, do it for yourself, your family... please Hayes." her voiced cracked.

"I'm trying Kaye.." I sighed.

I knew she couldn't hear me, but I said it anyways.

"Kaye, you can't keep doing this to yourself." I heads another voice. "What are you doing here Matthew?" I heard Kaye snap.

Hearing Matthews name and his voice, made me mad. What is he even doing here?

"Kaye, I'm here for you.. I know you're not doing good and I hate seeing you in so much pain." Matthew said.

"Leave right now." She snapped. "Ms? visiting hours are over." I heard the nurse.

"I'll be back tomorrow Hayes." was the last thing I heard.

• 1 Week Later •

• Kaye POV •

"Kaye, you're getting out of the house." Cameron said. "No I'm not." I said. "Yes you are Kaye, get up and get dressed." He said.

I knew I had to go, so I got out of bed and got dressed.

"Ready?" Cameron asked. I nodded and we got in the car. "Can we see Hayes?" I asked. "Kaye.." He sighed.

"Please cam." I said. "No.. not today." He shook his head. "I need to see him Cameron, he needs me." I said.

"Kaye, you're there all the time, you've spent almost a month in his hospital room." He said.

"Because he needs me! why can't you just understand that?!" I yelled.

"He's gone Kaye!" He yelled at me. "N-no." I shook my head.

"You have to get used to him not being her, If he doesn't wake up by Monday morning... he's gone." he said.

"He's going to wake up." I snapped. "Kaye.." Cameron's voice cracked. "No." I said.

I got out of the car and went back in the house.

"What happened?" Mom asked. "I need to see Hayes." I said. "Kalyn." She said. My eyes started to water and she hugged me.

"It's hard mom." I cried. "I can't let him."

"I know baby." she sighed rubbing my back.

"I'm not feeling good right now, I'm going to go lay down." I said. "I'll make you some tea." She said. I nodded and laid down in my room.

"It smells like shit in here." Leo chuckled walking in. "The trash can is filled with throw up." I said. "Kaye, you're gross." He said.

I shrugged and sat up, putting my hair up.

Callie and Madison walked in and had disgusted faces. "Well, it smells nice in here." Madison put on a fake movie.

"What do you expect?" I asked. She sprayed some air freshener before sitting on my bed.

"Hayes is doing better." Callie said. "Really?" I asked relieved. "Yeah." she smiled. "Callie." Madison and Leo hissed.

"It made her feel better." Callie shrugged. "You can't keep getting her hopes up." Madison hissed. "Sorry." Callie mumbled.

"He's going to wake up." I reassured them.

"How about you get cleaned up and we can go shopping? I'm sure Madi and Jordan need to get out of the house." Madison said.

"Okay fine." I said.

I didn't mind that Jordan was coming, she's going through the same thing I'm going through.

After my shower, I got dressed and did my hair.

"I'm gonna cut you." I told my hair. It's been long all my life and I'm ready for something new.

"Kaye, They're here!" Callie yelled. I took Hayes' sweater and put it on.

I walked out to the living room and hugged Madi. "Hey girl." I said softly. She wasn't as happy as she usually is, nobody is.

"How've you been?" she asked. "Not okay.." I said. "Same." She said. "This will be good for you." Dad told me.

I needed a day out, I haven't been out in a while.

We got in my range rover and Callie drove. I looked at Jordan and she gave me a half smile. I smiled in return, then looked out the window.

"We kind of just left Leo." I laughed a little bit. "We'll be alright." Madison shrugged.

We were at the hair salon and I decided go dye my hair and cut it.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Callie asked. I nodded and the stylist got started.

I was getting a call from Cameron and I got a nervous feeling. "hey Cameron, what's wrong?" I asked.

"Kaye, you need to come down to the hospital." He said. "What happened? what's wrong? Is it Hayes" I asked. "No, it's about you." He said.

"Can I come in an hour?" I asked. "Yeah." He said.

"What was it about?" Madi asked. "It's about me, but I don't know what it could be." I said confused.

"Kaye... you look hot." Callie told me. I looked in the mirror and it looked like a new me.

"I love it." I smiled. "Well, we gotta go find out what the news is." I said. They nodded and we got in the car.

When we got to the hospital, we went up to Hayes' room.

Everyone was there, including Matthew.

"What's going on?" I asked. "Kaye honey sit." Mom said. I sat down and she had a few papers in her hand.

"When your check up papers came in.. the doctor said something... something I think you know nothing about." She said.

"what?" I asked.

"Well she told me that you weren't harmed in anyway and neither was your baby."
