• Kaye POV •
"Let's go eat. I want some chicken nuggets." I said. "And a large sprite." I added and he chuckled.
"Nothing's changed." He said. "That will never change." I said.
He parked the car and we got out walking inside. When we walked in there, I bumped into a blonde girl.
"Sorry." We both said. We stared at each other before she asked, "do I know you?"
She looked familiar, but I didn't remember her.
"I don't think so, you look familiar though." I said. She laughed a little and sat down. I looked at her one more time, before walking over to Cameron.
"Did you get my large sprite?" I asked. "How could I forget it?" He asked. "You're right."
We sat down and we facetimed mom. "I haven't spoken to her since we left." Cameron said. "I have." I said.
"Have you spoken to dad? How is he?" He asked. "Mom said he's doing good." I shrugged, not really wanting to talk about it.
Mom popped up on his phone and she smiled. "Aw I miss my babies." She frowned. "Mom, I'm a man." Cameron said and I started laughing.
"You're a freaking boy." I laughed. "Shut up." He glared.
"What are you guys doing?" She asked. "Just spending time together." Cameron shrugged. "Aw, that's good. Is your sister in town yet?" She asked.
"Sierras coming?!" I asked excitedly. "It was a surprise but mom ruined it." Cameron said glaring at mom.
"You didn't say you were surprising Kaye." Mom said. "Where's dad?" I asked. "He's resting." She said. "Is he okay?" Cameron asked.
"He's been better." Mom said. Our eyes saddened. "Stop." Mom said. "We can come down and help out." Cameron said.
"Your dad is fine guys, stop worrying. I got this." She put on a smile.
"I gotta go, but I love you guys." She said. "Love you." We said and ended the call.
"You okay?" Cameron asked. "Yeah." I nodded.

"What are you guys doing here?" Nash asked Cameron and I once we walked into a shoe store.
"I need some shoes." Cameron said. "I was forced here." I said. "Same." I heard and looked to see Hayes.
"Cam was gone and I didn't want to go by myself." Nash said. "Well he's here now, can I go?" Hayes asked. "Yeah, I'm tired." I said.
"Fine." They said. I took Cameron's keys and we walked to the parking lot.
When we got home, we sat on the couch. "Is anyone here?" I asked. "Yeah, Matthew and Callie are talking." He said.
"I'm gonna go say hi." I said. I walked to Matthews room and they were kissing.
Just kidding, they were laughing.
"Hey Callie." I smiled. "Hey." She simply replied.
I walked back out and sat on the couch. "Yeah, I have a flight tonight." Hayes said. I noticed he was on the phone.
Matthew and Callie came out and Mathew walked Callie out.
Hayes hung up and I asked him where he was going.
"They have this club in Vegas that's eighteen and older and a few of my friends invited me." He said.
"I've always wanted to go to Vegas." I said. "Come with me." He said. "Are you serious?" I asked. "Yeah, you can get a flight right now." He said.
