ANOTHER CHAPTER JUST BECAUSE YOU GUYS ARE MY FAVESSS

• 1 Month later •

• Kaye POV •

Today was the day Hayes was going to be put down. We convinced the doctors to give him an extra month, so we can't ask for more days.

I still haven't come to let him go, I haven't come to realize that he's going to be gone, but I have come to realize that someone's life can be taken at any time of their life.

"Kaye, are you ready?" Cameron asked. I wiped my tears and nodded. I went to grab my phone and I noticed a big envelope.

I picked it up and it was for Hayes from the school he really wanted to get into.

I picked it up and opened it. I pulled out a letter and read it. I smiled and looked down at it.

"He got in." I told myself, "What was that?" Cameron asked.

I looked at him, "He got in Cameron, he wanted this so bad." I said. "Kaye, you gotta stop now." He said.

I grabbed the envelope and my phone and got in the car.

"Are you going to go to your appointment first?" He asked. "Yeah, I want to get it over with." I said. He nodded and drove to the hospital.

When we got there, Cameron came with me. "We can find out the gender today." The nurse told me. I looked at Cameron who was excited.

(You can't see the gender until the baby is three months and Kaye is only one and a half so just pretend she can)

"Can we please." Cameron asked. I laughed and The nurse nodded. I lifted up my shirt and she put the gel on my stomach.

I looked at the screen and the baby just looked like a potato.

(AN: I don't know why but re reading that made me laugh really hard)

"Oh nice. I have a potato as a child." I said and Cameron started laughing. "I see two potatoes." Cameron laughed.

"You're so dumb." I said. "Actually I'm seeing two too." The nurse said. my mouth dropped and so said Cameron's.

I couldn't handle one on my own, how am I going to handle two on my own?!

"Can I speak to him one last time before you take him off?" I asked the nurse. "Take your time." She said. I thanked her and went to Hayes' hospital bed.

I sat down and took his hand.

"I can't believe this is the last I'm going to actually be able to touch you." I said. Looking down at him and think about him being gone, made my eyes water.

"I'm gonna be honest Hayes, I'm gonna miss you.. a lot. I'm gonna need you more than anything and I won't ever forget about you." I said.

"I know you're not waking up and listen to me Hayes, you can go if you want, I can't keep you here if you don't want to stay, I'll miss you everyday, but I rather have you gone and happy than here and miserable." I said.

Tears started to fall and I wiped them.

"But before you decide to give up and go, hear me out." I said.

I took out the envelope and placed it on him.

"I found this this morning and me being nosy opened it. Football is your passion and I know you love it and this is why I feel like I have to tell you this... you got in Hayes." I said.

I started to cry, realizing this is harder than I thought.

I took his hand and placed it on my baby bump.

"I thought we were having one, but it looks like we're having two little boys." I smiled, crying a little bit.

"They're going to be just like you, running around, playing football. I just wish you could be there for it all." I said.

"I love you Hayes." I said.

I kissed his forehead and sat back down. I just wanted to spend the last few minutes with him.

I laid beside him and wrapped my arm around his torso.

• Cameron POV •

"Don't ever leave me man." I told Nash, as we looked through the window. "Never." He said.

"How are we going to live without him?" He asked me. "I don't know, but we'll get through it together." I said. He nodded and I hugged him.

"Wait guys look." Taylor said. We pulled away and saw moving. "It can't be.." Nash said. "It's probably Kaye moving around." I said.

"Wait wait wait..." Nash said, as we saw Hayes open and shut his eyes. We rushed in there and He was awake.

"Nurse!" I yelled. "What's going on?" Elizabeth asked. "He's awake." I said. Everyone went to his room and the near checked on him.

"if he can breath without the support he made it." She said. We nodded and watched her take him off.

We waited a minute and he was breathing on his own. "Thank god." Elizabeth breathed out.

We were all relieved.

(AN: I know so typical BUT HOW WAS I GOING TO KILL HAYES the fuq?! I need him)

"Do you want me to take her?" I asked Hayes. "Leave her." He shook his head. I sat at the edge of his bed.

"We were all worried about you Hayes, but Kaye..." I started to say. "I know." He said.

"I'm glad you're back." I said. I walked out and sat beside Nash. "Who would have thought my little brother and your little sister would have had kids together." he said.

I chuckled, "Not me."

We laughed and the parents looked at us. "What's so funny?" mom asked. "Oh nothing." I said.

• Kaye POV •

I woke up to voices. I opened my eyes to see Madi. "Who are you talking too?" I asked not seeing anyone else.

"look who's finally up." I heard Hayes. I quickly sat up and saw he was awake. "You see him talking to too right?" I asked Madi.

She laughed and nodded.

"I'm gonna cry." I smiled looking at him. "You've cried too much." he said. I laid beside him and he ran his hands through my hair.

"What took you so long?" I asked him. "I tried so many times to wake up, but I couldn't then today when you came back, something happened and I was able to, I can't explain it." He said.

"You could hear me?" I asked. "Every single word, every single day." He smiled. "I'm so glad you're back Hayes." I said.

"Me too." he said. "Baby?" Jordan said coming in. "Hi babe." Hayes smiled. I got up and left them alone.

It hurt knowing he was dating Jordan, but I have to live with that.

I walked out and Cameron wrapped his arms around my neck, hugging me.

"I love you." he said. "I love you more." I smiled.
