• Kaye POV •
"Are you mad still?" Matthew asked when we walked outside. "I know you can't control what they say, but I thought you would stick up got me." I said.
"I know and I'm sorry, I'm gonna tell them returning Kalyn, I promise." He said.
I nodded, "call me when that happens."
He nodded and walked to his car. I went inside and Hayes walked over to me. "You okay?" He asked. "Yeah, I'm fine."
"Come on, we want to do something." He smiled. I followed him to the living room and we sat down on the couch.
"So, what do you guys want to do?" I asked. "We want to go out, maybe dinner?" Cameron asked.
"I girl could eat." I said. They laughed and we all got ready to go out.
I went to the bathroom and started doing my eye makeup. I bent over, getting closer to the mirror and tried to concentrate so I wouldn't miss up.
I felt a figure getting close to me, but I continued doing. They leaned against my backside and I looked in the mirror to see Hayes.
"You look great." He whispered into my ear, making my shiver a bit. I stood up straight and he smiled at me, "Have you spoke to Jordan today?" I said reminding him he still had a girlfriend.
"Uh y-yeah." He mumbled, scratching the back of his neck nervously. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Oh, nothing, just finish getting ready." He said.
I nodded and finished doing my makeup. I wet my hair a little but and let my natural curls loose.
I went to my room and changed into skinny jeans, a loose knitted grey sweater, and thigh high boots.
I grabbed my handbag and walked out. Hayes looked up at me with his mouth slightly opened. He stood up and walked over to me, "you look beautiful." He said.
I blushed a little, smiling at him. "Thank you." He gave me a cheesy smile and took my hand, walking me out to his car.
"Where did everyone go?" I asked, noticing the cars were gone. I hadn't realized I was taking that long, but what's new?
"Yeah, they went to get a table and you were taking to long." He chuckled, I looked at him. I watched as he turned the car on and drive out of the driveway.
He rolled the window down and the wind blew in his hair. "Take a picture Kaye." He chuckled, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Hayes, do ever think about what it would've been if I hadn't moved?" I asked, his facial expression change and he looked upset.
He let out a sigh and slightly nodded, "I knew you weren't going to come back, but hoped everyday that you would, but I soon stopped hoping after a year ha passed."
"Oh Hayes.." I sighed, "I was the dumbest fourteen year old ever." I never realized how selfish I was and how I didn't treat Hayes like he treated me.
"You weren't selfish." He said. "Did I say that out loud?" I asked, embarrassed. He chuckled, slightly nodding.
"I was Hayes, Do you remember when I told you I thought Jordan was cheating and you found out?" I asked. "Don't remind me." He chuckled.
I shook my head, "Well I was so caught up on how you should have listened to me and how I was right, I forgot to comfort and be there for you. I didn't realize that you just saw your girlfriend kissing your best friend, I was just thinking about myself." I said.
(A/N: wow, re-read little sister and Kaye was a little bitch ^^)
"Yeah, I was a little upset.. But I should have listened." He said. "Stop Hayes, I was a bitch." I said causing him to laugh.
