• Hayes POV •
"Wake up." I told Kaye, plopping down on the bed. "I'm really tired." She groaned. "Please." I pouted.
"No." She groaned, turning over. I stood up and threw a pillow down at her, "Loser." I said walking out.
I went to the kitchen and poured me some frosted flakes and milk. I sat down and started eating and my phone started to ring.
I looked and Jordan's face was on the screen. I clicked the answer button and put the phone up to my ear, "hey jordan."
"Hey, can we talk?" She asked. "Yeah, come over?" I asked. "I'll be there in five minutes, thanks Hayes." She said and hung up.
I didn't know what she wanted to talk about, but she sounded serious. I sat there, nervous on what all she had to say.
"Hayes." I heard Kaye call out. I went to her room and she was on the floor. I rushed to her side and she laughed a little.
"I'm fine, I just need you to lift my bed. I found my left shoe." She said. I nodded and lifted her bed. She grabbed her shoe and thanked me.
"Do you have plans?" I asked her. "Just gonna go see Callie." She said. "Okay." I said. She went to the bathroom and I went back to the living room.
The door bell rang and I opened it. "Hey." Jordan said. I let her in and we sat on the couch.
"Ever since the party, I've been thinking." She started. I was wondering where this was going.
I nodded, listening to what she had to say. "I'm ready to change." She said. My eyes widened, I was not expecting that.
"I was once a really good person Hayes, it's just jealousy took over me. It was wrong of me to have a party here especially when I knew your pregnant friend was here sleeping, it was a bitch move." She said.
She wasn't wrong on that, that wasn't cool of Jordan to do that, but I respected the fact that she apologized and owned up to it.
Kaye walked in and saw Jordan, "Oh, I'll leave you two alone." She said. "Actually Kaye, I wanted to talk to you too." She said.
"Oh.. Alright then." Kaye said a little hesitant. She sat on the other couch and Jordan turned to her.
"I'm sorry for everything honestly, no this isn't one of my little stupid tricks, I'm being serious and I would like it if you took me seriously. I miss how we used to be friends, when you came back I expected it to go back to that, but I ruined it.. I'm sorry for everything Kaye, I am." She said.
Kaye looked at her and then me, then back at her. "I want to believe you Jordan I do, but I can't just forgive that easily, it takes time sometime.. You know?" Kaye said.
I was glad this was going smoothly and calm, it just makes things easier. "I know and I'm going to prove to you guys that I'm serious and that I'm really sorry." She said.
"Good, I look forward to it." Kaye smiled, "I have somewhere to be, so I'll see you guys later." She said standing up and walking to the door.
"Thank you Jordan, I really do appreciate you coming here." Kaye said. Jordan nodded and I smiled, "Bye Kaye, drive safe."
"I will, bye Hayes." She said and left. I looked at Jordan and kissed her. "I'm so glad you came." I told her, "It took a lot for me to actually do this, but I'm glad I did." She said.
I wrapped my arms around her shoulder and she leaned her head on me. "I love you." We both said. We laughed and I kissed her cheek.
The door opened and Michael walked in with an old friend that I wanted nothing to do with. I felt myself getting out and my jaw started to clench.
