• Hayes POV •
I woke up and I quickly got dressed. "Babe, where are you going?" Jordan asked. "Out." I said, "you can leave when you want."
I grabbed my keys and got in my car, driving over to Madi's place.
When I got there, Matthews car was parked outside. I walked up to Madi's apartment and walked inside.
Kaye was laughing with Matthew by her side and they stopped once they saw me.
Matthew got a mad look and walked over to me. "How the fuck could you let last night happen!" He yelled. "Matthew." Kaye warned.
"You act like I meant for it to happen! I had nothing to do with that Matthew." I said.
"Of course you didn't." He said sarcastically. "What are you even doing here?" I snapped.
"Me? What are you doing here? I came to check on my friend and her possibly harmed unborn kids." He snapped.
"How about you go back to Bobby, remember her? The girl you cheated on Kaye with, the girl you got pregnant." I said.
He was getting more mad, but I didn't care.
"You should have burned in that fire." He hissed at me.
My eyes widened, no matter how much I hate someone, I would never say anything like that.
"Matthew, how dare you." Kaye snapped.
I shook my head, then stormed out of there. I don't know why, but I that really hurt me.
"Hayes wait!" I heard Matthew. I stopped walking and once I felt him close enough, I turned around and swung at him.
He held his jaw and nodded, "okay, I deserved that."
"You deserve much more than that actually." I snapped. "Look, I didn't mean that.. I'm sorry." He said.
"I bet Kaye told you to do that." I said. "She didn't, I came to apologize before she could even get a word out." He said.
"Well you can take your dumb apology and shove it up your ass. Don't come near me." I said.
I pushed past him and went back to the apartment because I still needed to talk to Kaye.
"You okay?" Madi asked. "Yeah, where's Kaye?" She asked. "Kitchen." She said. I nodded and went to the kitchen.
She was cooking bacon and I chuckled.
"Always want some damn bacon." I said. "Nothing has changed." She laughed. I took a piece and she slapped me.
"Ow." I chuckled. "You okay?" She asked. "Yeah, you don't hit hard." I said. "Not that, what Matthew said." She said.
"Yeah, his words don't mean shit anymore." I said. She laughed and then stopped and looked at me.
"I don't hit hard." She said and I started laughing. "You're late." I said. "Because I just realized what you said." She said.
"Mhm, well what are you doing today?" I asked. "Well Matthew invited me to his parents beach house, haven't seen them in awhile so I'm gonna go with him." She said.
"Oh." I said. "But, you have to start getting ready for football, so you need to hit the gym. Mr flabby." She laughed.
"Be quiet." I said. "I'm kidding." She laughed.
"Mhm, you're the fat one." I said. "It's the babies." She whined. "Don't blame them, they're barely grown, they're like a seed." I said.
"Not even." She hit me. "You better stop hitting me." I said. "I do what I want." She said, walking out.
