• Kaye POV •

Everyone had left and I sat in the living room. I just sat there replaying what happened yesterday.

The door opened and Matthew walked in.

"I thought everyone left, I'm sorry." He mumbled. "Just get your stuff and go." I gritted through my teeth.

"Kaye, are we just done...for good?" He asked. "You're such a dumbass! Why would I date you after all of that?!" I yelled.

"Because you made the same mistake I did!" He yelled. "That's where you're wrong Matthew. You purposely cheated on me, you purposely hurt me. I was getting hurt and everyone realized it but me. Hayes cheated, but at least he owned up to it, there's one thing that's different between you and Hayes. Hayes grew up and you're still the same boy from that summer... But worse." I snapped, my eyes watering.

He just went to his room and slammed the door. I could hear him crying and throwing things across his room.

I sat on the couch, putting my head in my hands.

"Kaye, I'm not leaving until you talk to me." Matthew said. I looked up at him and he looked a mess.

"There's nothing to talk about Matthew. I never want to see you again." I said.

"Kaye.." His voice cracked. I walked over to him and I kissed him. "I love you Matthew, I do. But I'm not doing this anymore, goodbye." I said, wiping my tears.

"You never fucking loved me." He snappdd, getting mad. his jaw started to tighten and he started breathing heavily.

"Why do you say that?" I asked, backing away from him.

"If you did you wouldn't leave me!" He yelled, kicking the coffee table down.

I jumped and he stepped closer. "Matthew, stop." I said. "You didn't love me did you?" He spat.

"Yes I did now leave!" I yelled. "You never fucking loved me!" He yelled in my face.

He grabbed my wrist, tightening his grip as he got madder.

"You're hurting me." My voice cracked. "Say you didn't love me and I'll let go." He snapped. "But I did love you Matthew." I said.

"LIAR!" He screamed, pushing me back a little. I stumbled and fell back. "Matthew stop." I said beginning to cry.

It's like he turned into a monster.

"YOU NEVER FUCKING LOVED ME! IT SUCKS THAT IT IS YOUR DAD WHOS GONNA DIE BECAUSE HE DOESNT DESERVE IT!" He yelled, going to the door.

"YOU DO!" He screamed. "Rot in hell, just like your dad is going to." He spat, leaving.

I grabbed a class bottle and went outside. I threw it at his head and he turned around pissed.

"You're right Matthew, I fucking hate you!" I yelled. He started walking towards me and I pretended not to be scared, but I was.

I started to walk backwards, but stopped when I was leaned up against the house.

He got in my face. "I knew you didn't love me." He grinned evilly. "Just like you didn't love me." I said.

"I feel bad for your kids, they're going to be raised by a dirty whore like you." He said.

I kicked him in the balls and walked in the house, locking the doors.

He started banging on the door and I yelled, telling him to stop. "I loved you Kaye! I need you!" He cried.

"Matthew just go." I cried. I put my back against the wall and slid down slowly.

"I love you." I whispered. I heard him get in his car and drive out.

"I'm so stupid." I mumbled, drying my eyes.

I sat on the couch and just replayed everything that just happened. Thinking about about leaving Matthew made my stomach hurt.

Matthew did something terrible, but I love him.

I'm not going to be one of those stupid girls who go back to their cheating boyfriends over and over again.

I just have to move on and stop dating.

• Hayes POV •

"We should have brought Kaye." Madison sighed. "She just needs rest." I said. "I feel so bad for her." She frowned.

"I know.." I said.

"Let's get her in and out, that'll cheer her up." She said. "Yeah!" I smiled. I drove towards in and out.

"Matthews calling." She said. I rolled my eyes and she answered.

"What the fuck do you want?" She snapped answering. "No Matthew, she's never going to forgive you. You have a child on the way, worry about that. You and Kaye are done." She said.

I pulled into the drive through and ordered.

"This is so good, Kaye's gonna love me." Madison said, drinking her milkshake.

A fire truck drove past us as we were on our way to the house.

"Somebody's house is on fire." I said. "Hate to be them." Madison said. we pulled into our street and saw smoke.

I drove down to the house and noticed it was our house.

"Shit." I said. "What the hell happened?" She asked. I parked the car on the other side of the road and we ran over to our house.

"You guys have to stay back." A firemen told us. "This is our house." I said. "It's not safe, stand back." I said.

"Wait.. where's Kaye?" Madison asked. "There's a girl in there!" I yelled. "There's no way we can get in there." A heard someone say.

My heart started beating faster and I saw madison get a scared look.

"I have to go." I said. Madison looked over. "If they can't get in, you can't. you're not going in there Hayes." She said.

"I have to try." I said. "Hayes stop." She said.

"I'm not gonna stand here and watch these assholes do nothing. What are we going to tell Cameron or anyone else. What? That we stood here and watched the house burn down with Kaye in it?! I can't live with that and neither can anyone else. I have to try madison." I said.

I walked in the house, not caring what anyone said.

(AN: this might not even be realistic but I don't know how to right it haha)

"KAYE!?" I yelled. I started coughing and my body started to become very hot.

I couldn't breath at all, but I can't just stand there and watch those stupid firemen do nothing.

I went upstairs and her room door was locked. "What the heck." I growled. The fire wasn't as bad as it was downstairs.

I tried kicking the door down, but it wasn't working out.

"GO IN THERE, MY FUCKING BROTHER AND SISTER ARE IN THERE!" I heard Cameron scream.

"THIS IS YOUR FUCKING JOB!" I heard Nash.

I kicked the door down and Kaye was on the ground lying next to an open pill bottle.

"Oh no." My voice cracked. The fire got worse and I started coughing more. I opened her window and picked her up.

Her window was facing the front of the house, so I waited until they could find a way she could get down safely.

They got on a ladder and grabbed her.

"I'll be right back." He told me. I nodded and sighed relieved.

As soon as he went down, the house came down.
