Chapter 17

Tris's POV

"Im telling you! Once I walk out this door you won't see me again for a week." Caleb says.

"Yes I will, the door is glass." I smile at my smart ass comment.

"Shut up." He smiles too and walks over to the door. "I'm going to my friends camp for a week."

"Bye." I wave and log on to twitter on my laptop.

Caleb walks out of the door as my mom walks in. She's been working a lot more since we moved, to get more money.

"Hey mom."

"Hi, honey." She sighs. "How was your day?"

"Boring, Tobias is working at this new bakery in town."

"It's true I crave you-" my phone rings. (SONG- Crave you , Adventure Club Dubstep remix)

"Hello?"

"Hey."

Tobias, speak of the devil.

"Tell me your ears were ringing." I laugh.

"My ears were ringing..?" He says

"Shut up. Anyway, how's it goin'?"

He sighs. "It's like over 70 degrees in here. But the pay is great."

"Awesome, what time do you get off?"

"4, come over then."

"Okay, demanding thing you are." I laugh.

"Love you too." He says.

"Bye." I hang up.

"Was that him?" My mom asks sitting at the table.

"Yeah. I'm going over at 4."

She nods and logs onto her own computer.

"I'll be upstairs." I jog up the stairs and close my bedroom door behind me.

I Snapchat Christina to see what she's doing.

"Nm, what u up 2." She replies.

"Bored."

"Come over."

"I'm going to Tobias @ 4."

"So? It's 2."

"K, see u soon."

"Alrighty."

I grab my bag and swing it over my shoulder, I grab my phone and jog down the stairs.

"Bye, ma!" I say and walk out the door.

"See you, Tris."

"Why does she need to be like that?"

Christina and I were laying on her bed. She was telling me how Marlene was starting to drift away from her.

"She told me she didn't like how I acted around her."
