A week until If I Stay comes out! Can't wait to see Jamie Blackley 😏

The CLE was awesome! They don't have many rides, but it was great.

There's a horse show the 31st so I'm excited about that.

So here is the chapter!

Chapter 16

Tobias POV

"Tobias, come here."

I sigh and walk over to Joel.

"I have to talk to you about something." He says and motions me into his room.

"I thought you might." I huff and walk into his room.

He frowns at me but then shakes his head. "Grey was talking to me, he thinks we should try to spoil Alexandra's secret."

I sigh. "I think we should leave it alone."

"Of course you do. Grey and I want to take it into our own matters."

"It's not like dad is faithful to Alexandra either!"

"Exactly, we could find a way to ruin both their secrets!" Joel walks closer to me. "C'mon, Tobias, it'll make things better."

I laugh. "As if. You're trying to lure me in, Joel."

He scowls at me and pushes my shoulder.

"You'll do this, Tobias. Don't make me dig up secrets that aren't pretty."

"Don't blackmail me." I glare at him. "I am not a child."

"Then stop acting like one."

"I am not doing this and that is final." I go to walk out but Joel grabs my arm.

"How would you like your girlfriend to find out about what happened to our mother? Or even worse, what you did."

"It wasn't my fault." I say threw gritted teeth. "Let me go."

"No, not until you agree to this."

"So help me, Joel let me go."

He gives me a death glare before letting me go and yelling at me to get out.

I walk into Grey on my way to my room.

"So, what did Joel have to say?"

"I am not agreeing to your 'arrangement', Grey."

His eyes turn cold. "Why not? Don't you want to help dad?"

"You're not helping dad. You're going to F up his relationship."

"Don't you get it? It's already F***** up."

"Leave me alone, Grey." I walk past him and close my door, locking it behind me.

My phone beeps.

~Hey, how's it going? I am fully moved into my new house. You should come over tonight, we're having a home welcoming party or something, your parents are invited as well as your brothers. I miss you.

I smile.

I put away my phone and lay on my bed. Hopefully Tris will take my mind off things.

When I arrive at Tris's house, I'm greeted by her father. He shakes my hand and I give her mother a small hug, I nod to Caleb and kiss Tris.

She looks.. Wow. Amazing.

She's wearing a black sleeveless top with lace around the neck. It stops around her stomach but her greenly bluey skirt hides her stomach and completes the outfit. She has her hair curled and it hangs on her shoulders. She is only wearing mascara, no other makeup.

"You look, I have no words." I smile at her.

She blushes and kisses my cheek.

"You cleaned up pretty well." She nods to me.

I'm wearing black pants, a white shirt with the first couple buttons undone, my hair is messy as always.

"Thanks."

"Can I give you a tour?" She asks and hold out her hand. I've only seen her room and the entrance.

"Of course." I take her hand and she leans me away.

She shows me the kitchen, bathroom, living room, and almost every other room before leading me upstairs.

"You've already seen this room but let's see it again."

We walk into her bedroom. It looks a lot better, more like a home

"It's awesome, Tris. Looks like you've made yourself comfortable."

She nods. "I'm starting to feel more at home."

I sit on her bed.

"How was your day?" She asks.

"Bad. You?"

"Wait, what?"

"Nothing, it was fine."

"No, what happened?"

"Nothing, Tris." I say and lay down on her bed.

"Fine."

"C'mon, let's go downstairs." I say and stand up. "Let's celebrate."

She smiles and kisses me before we walk downstairs together.

I actually enjoyed writing it.

It's short, but I'll update soon.
