Chapter 19: Heartbroken kiss

*18 years old*
*Enchanted Forest*
~Sam's pov~

I pulled away from the last kiss I was teaching Regina and her face was bright red.

"Sorry if that was too much." I looked down so she couldn't see me blush.

"No can I try?" She asked with excitement in her eyes.

I knew that this was all so she could kiss Daniel, but I couldn't help but wish it was for me.

I hadn't even answered her and she copied my movement and began to kiss me. Locking her lips with mine before sliding her tongue into my mouth by surprise.

I gave in to the kiss, partly so she could get the full feel of what she was doing. Then she gently nibbled my lower lip before she continued to kiss me.

I didn't show her that last bit, but my heart was beating so fast I'm sure she could hear it just as well as a war drum beating into battle.

Yet she continued to kiss me. While she was doing so she placed her hand on my thigh (whether or not she meant to I don't know) and I began to feel a tingling in my leg the grew to my core heating up a little bit.

'I have to stop this before something else happens.' I thought before I regretfully pulled away from the kiss.

"Is everything ok?"

"Yea. I think you understand." I couldn't help but smile like an idiot, yet I was heartbroken she was doing this for him.

"Good!" She said excitedly. "I'm sorry we spent so much if your birthday you teaching me." She looked down like she was upset or embarrassed.

"No it's fine. I enjoy spending time with you." I hugged her and she looked back up at me. "Now we should probably go back to Patr before he starts digging holes again."

She began to laugh after I said that and began to climb out the window.

"Thank you Sam." She smiled through the window and kissed my cheek. "You're the best friend a girl could have."

"Anything for you Regina." I smiled back at her before walking away. "I'll be back soon."

As I walked past the stable I saw Daniel glare at me. It was like he knew what happened, but he probably assumed it was something more than what happened.

"Stay away from her." He warned once I got closer.

"There is literally nothing you can do to me." I said before he shoved me to the ground. I stood back up and looked him in the eyes. My hand gripped the hilt of my sword.

"Stay away from her." He warned again.

Even though he was a couple inches taller than me I wasn't scared of him. If I wanted to I could easily take him down and he wouldn't get back up.

"You're an idiot." I said as I resisted hurting him.

I was almost back to Patr when Daniel tackled me.

"Get off." I warned him as I heard Patr wake up and start to growl. "Patr stay." I commanded.

"Is that all you got?" His fist came to contact with my face. "This is you're last warning. Stay away from her."
