I continued to moved around when suddenly I heard something. It sounded as if someone was crying.

I brushed it away when the vet came from behind the door to the surgery room.

"He's going to be ok. He just needs to rest." I read his lips as he smiled. "He is a fighter."

"May I see him?"

The vet guided me to the room where they had Patr recovering in. He had a tube running from his front leg and to a bag full of clear fluid.

"Hey buddy..." I think I was whispering.

He opened his eyes as if he was barely able to stay awake. He glanced at my arm before licking it and wimpering.

"Everything it ok buddy. I promise." I scratched behind his ear before the vet tapped on my shoulder.

"I'll have to keep him over night to make sure he doesn't have an allergic reaction to his stitches." He smiled and placed his hand on my shoulder. "Go home and rest."

"Ok."

I said goodbye to Patr before I left. I was almost to my car when I heard the crying again.

I began to run towards the crying person.

Their cries lead me to the woods and I stopped for a moment and looked into the trees that were only lit up by moon.

The cry turned into a scream of someone that lost someone. I didn't take a second thought when I sprinted into the woods.

I kept running as the scream began to fade. I wasn't paying full attention and I was suddenly at the cliffs edge. I somehow managed to stop just before going over the edge.

"How did I get here?" I questioned out loud. "I wasn't even near here."

The screaming turned back into crying and it was far over the cliff side.

Something was trying to take me over the edge and the poison in my system isn't helping. I want to follow the voice but it was like something else was holding me back.

"Sam!" I heard a woman yell.

Her voice sounded familiar but at the same time it wasn't from someone I knew.

I reached my foot forward and I was surprised when it felt as if it was placed on solid ground.

I went to take another step when place my other foot was gave way. I was surprised when someone grabbed my shirt and pulled me back into their arms.

I could feel they were yelling when I pressed my head to their neck and felt the violent vibrations, but all I could here was the woman in the distance.

"She needs help!" I yelled at whoever was holding me back as I attempted to break free. "She is asking me for help!"

I was forced to the ground and the next thing I knew Regina sat on my chest.
