"Tell the truth or do the Dare ?" Carly asked.
We all sat around the fire with a midnight blue sky and sparkling stars that where nothing compared to the shinning waters of the lake. Every one sat on the bench wrapped around the fire. And by everyone, I meant only the "popular crowd"My Girls.
Fin's Crew.
Lucas and Zane.
Let's not forget Carly and her minions.
All around the fire with mischief in their eyes burning just as fiercely as the fire. And honestly I was terrified. Everyone knows how truth or dare goes, we ether spill secrets or create new ones. I held a strong face. Seating unbothered on the bench Jasper sat next to me, clearly uncomfortable with being around so many people. But I was selfish and even with his own discomfort I needed him there for my comfort.
" Why the hell am I going first?" I questioned" You already missed the scary stories the least you could do is start off truth or dare." I rolled my eyes.
" Finding out how you got syphilis might be considered a scary story. But not one I felt like finding out." Carly surprisingly forced a smile at my insult.
" Tell the truth or do the dare Kinsley." She repeated. With intensity in her eyes. She was determine to get me to speak, to have me go first. The tension was thick.
" I'll go first." Lucas objected taking a swig of his beer. I sighed in relief not wanting to be under Carly's thumb while playing such a dangerous game.
Yet, this time around it wasn't Carly who was the most excited. It was Fin a witty smile spreads across his face and he leans in placing his elbows on his thighs." Tell the truth or do the dare Lukey Pooky?" Finn taunted with a devious smirk. Lucas grins and leans back in his beach chair. Our truth or dare wasn't your typically game. Of course it's a pick your poison scenario. Truth? Dare? The player would ask the question telling you your dare and truth letting you pick." Tell the truth or do the dare." In many cases the truth was always just as bad as the dare. It was created as a way to get secrets out of people. If you pick Dare, we know you're hiding the truth. The game was made to see how far people would go to keep their secrets and we would all find out just how many people have.
