She was the type that you could never stop thinking about.
Maybe it was her dark hair and those full lips, or it could of been her fiery spirt and gorgeous white smile. Then again it was everything about her that consumed my mind.

But today was different.

I was angry.

Not at Kinsley. Never Kinsley.

But her Father.

His words got me. As much I hated it they did. He thought so little of me. Which didn't bother me, Im use to people looking down on me. But it was the fact that he didn't take me seriously.

Was I just a phase?

A ploy in Kinsley's check book to rebellion against her tyrant Father?

" He said you where a phase?" Gurney laughed as he took another hit of us blunt.

He extended it me and, although I was tempted. I declined.

" I'm good."

I didn't have many friends other than Fawn, and quite recently I'd been able to call Gurney one as well. Despite that one mishap of me kissing the girl he'd been in love since childhood we had become friends.

And after what happen with Kinsley's Father what better person to rant to the guy who's known her all his life.

" You know what you gotta do?" Gurney asked clearly high.

" No."

" You gotta go to Vegas."

" Vegas?" I asked confused.

" Do that romantic shit. A grand gesture she'll love it  and it'll certainly piss John off. Vegas is his fucking domain you come up there in his  territory and sweep his daughter off her feet."

Vegas?

" She did ask me to go." I replied recollecting the thought.

" So why the hell are you here?"

I shrugged. " I just-"

" You where scared."

" What! No." I exclaimed " Of course not I just...  I thought it was to soon."
