Jasper's voice was like waiting for a rain storm during a drought. You got excited when the clouds got grey hoping the skies would open and unleash the quench to your thirst. Even a cool breeze was a tease. And every time Jasper opened his mouth it...

"You were always far more memorable than I ever was." -Jasper Ralston
Expelled.
The word floated around the halls all day, everyone hearing of the fight. In the public's eye I had two guys fighting for my hand.
To some I was a Goddess.
To most, I was a skank.
My heart had pounded in chest all day. Had I ruined Jasper's life. Was Mr.J right? Did I corrupt him? Jasper was no longer a quiet name in the halls, he was infamous even before the fight and after Lucas party he become a prominent figure at school. An odd match we were but everyone looked with envy.
" Do you think Finn's going to get suspended for hitting a..... special kid."
" I heard he could lose his scholarship. All over Kinsley."
" What's so special about her anyway? "
"They only want her because she's rich."
The group of gossiping girls laughed.
" End easy"
I heard worst during the day. I didn't care about prom, or my birthday.. I just cared about Jasper. It felt like they we in that office for hours. I knew Bruce wouldn't make it to meeting, he was half way across the world buying real estate in Dubai. I knew it would be Lora would come dressed like Jackie Kennedy and crying over her sons tattered face earning sympathy amongst the administration, Bruce would probably be contacted over the phone and rain down hell on Jasper. It would be unfair fight.
Jasper's Mom wouldn't be there. But from what I heard they saw Jayce came on behalf of his mother and that alone was enough to no that Jasper had lost the fight.
He left the campus without a word to me.
Which is why I came to him.
I found myself standing on his front porch, my Benz parked on the tattered road, and my heels slipping though the cracks of the patent. The neighbors dogs viciously with nothing but a gate holding them back. I had been to his house once. While he had been to mine, to many to count. I didn't want to feel out of place, but for some reason. I didn't want be flashy, or show off my wealth. That felt... inconsiderate. I take off my rings and tennis bracelet sliding them in my pocket.
" Scared were going to steal Barbie Doll?" I jump startled at the voice behind me. My throat going dry as I see Jayce, he was tall and intimidating. He was handsome, but tired. I could see the bags that hung under his blue eyes and the fresh stumble on his chin. I stared him, trying to make it with Finn's, they had the same built. He had Ranger blues eyes, but his were far more deeper, they were a deep blue. But no matter how long I looked at Jayce, no matter how much I compared his actions to the Rangers or the small physical similarities. I couldn't cast Jayce in the same light as them.
