Jasper's voice was like waiting for a rain storm during a drought. You got excited when the clouds got grey hoping the skies would open and unleash the quench to your thirst. Even a cool breeze was a tease. And every time Jasper opened his mouth it...

" Shit." Bee cursed as the car came to a halt bumping into a curve. The smell of beer and burning fire wood was thick in the air and our grand entrance consisted of me running over a curb. Driving. I never drive. I honestly hate driving. Yet, that didn't stop my dad from getting me a pink Lamborghini on my 16th birthday. Its spent the majority of its life in the parking garage never seeing the light of day until now. In the dusty woods in front of drunk teen dancing around a fire as if this is some kind of weird cult. Why the hell am I even here? I hate parties. I haven't been to one since...... since the last time I went to a party. The smell of booze was nearly sickening the music sucked. And to make matters worse.
Finnegan.
No. No I'm not getting out of this car. What was I thinking coming here I can't. Hell no I can't! Not again. Not this again. He laughed a girl sat in his lap around the bonfire her small hands rubbing on his bare chest. He was shirtless exposed. Leave it to Fin to have a six pack, but no brains. This was his element drink parties, pretty girls, drinking games, and groping.
Yuck!
Crazy. That girl sat on his lap eyes full of lust in wonder. Her dream come true, my biggest nightmare.
" Kin come on." I jumped startled at the tap on my window. Nani had a smile plastered on her face gesturing me to get out the car. I turn off the car stuffing my keys in my pocket. forcing my self to get out the car. I can do this. It's just a bonfire no biggie. Nani laced her arms around Bee and I's dragging us towards the rest of the crowd.
" What's with the backpack?" Bee asked me
" She plans on having a hot study date with Jasper." Nani teased.
Bee chuckled.
" The Bad Bitches have arrived!" Nani shouted causing a wave of cheers around the crowd. No shocker there. In this hierarchy we where placed at the top. The top of every gossip, every rumor, every crush, every romance, every drama, every dance. Love letters, relationship scandals, fashion advice and on Wednesday we wore pink. We had reached that level of cliche when it came to high school popularity. I dated the captain of the football team, Nani with the schools bad boy, Bee's fling with one of the English Teachers and the pool of drooling boys that followed after us. A teen dream, more like a nightmare.
" Can I interest you beautiful ladies in a drink." A guy asked.
We knew better.
" No." I said
We didn't accept drinks from parties unless we got it are selfs. Nothing from punch bowls and certainly not any from strange boys. We had rules in place. Rules we followed in order to protect each other and only once those rules failed us. The establishment that my girls and I had where used to protect us from the 3 P's public humiliation, people, and pregnancy.
