"When are you going to start loving yourself, the way I love you?"

I like silent movies.

Words are overrated overly ambiguous and purely... well cryptic.

In silent movies you get emotions, reactions, you know the story without a single word uttered. Though the real world  isn't that simple.People can be Masters  of Emotions  and able to hide there true feelings all while avoiding using words.

I don't think I'm a Master of Emotion.

I wear my emotions on my sleeve making each reaction or state of mind fully visible. Less theatrical than  silent film, but the emotions just as evident.  I don't think everyone's good at reading emotions though. I think some people can't look outside of themselves. Not knowing what sadness looks like on another person, or anger, or frustration, not even happiness.

My Moms that kind of person.

Zane isn't.

I guess that's why we got along so well. He was man of few words and I was girl who had to much to say but always kept it in.

My finger pressed down on treadmill increasing the speed, my eyes focused on the plasma television that sat against the wall playing a classic silent film called Sunrise directed by F.W Murnau, yet even with film playing the speakers in the home gym  pounded loudly blasting Pink Floyd as Zane successful did pull ups his muscles swollen and glistening in sweat. Did it so effortless without a groan or heavy breaths.

Zane was a everything right in the world.

He was quiet yet well spoken. Wasn't a fan of drama and always observing before interacting. With Zane people never knew what he was thinking until he said it. When he wasn't playing football he was watching anime or the History channel and those countless documentary series. What he loved more than footballs was cars. Which made since with his aunt  being a professional race car driver and his father being a car designer for Tesla. We would always go to car shows and every-time that mysterious demeanor would fade and he would smile.

I'm not sure what made Zane so anti social. Lucas was his only friend and even though he wasn't shy, he still kept to himself even though under his breath he always sliding jokes. But there was always a time when he had no problem speaking up, and that's when it came to me.

My eyes narrowed as I saw my sister flash across the Tv her golden hair curled perfectly and raspberry pink lip stick staining her plump lips. She fluttered her long eye lashes clouded with Smokey mascara and seductive smiled at the camera as her designer maxi black slit cocktail dress framed her skin curves. Flaunting the newest mascara from Chanel.
