"I Don't Blame Her, I Want To Kill Him Myself."

Leon had grown accustomed with Rosalie by his side, he was still unfamiliar and unsure about Midge. Yes Midge had grown close to his best friend, not as close as she was to the Serpents, but close.
Perhaps he was jealous that she didn't need him as much as she did during freshman and the start of sophomore year.
"Have you two got any thing planned for after school?" Midge asked. "I'm working. I was meant to yesterday, unfortunately I was dragged away against my will." Rosalie looked at Leon with an expression of fake annoyance. He laughed at her. "As if you're complaining! You loved it, you like him!"
Midge smiled as she looked between the two. "Is he speaking of the serpent you told me about?" "This is a different one. The one I once held conflicted feelings over, let's just say my feelings aren't jumbled up anymore. We're just friends, that's how it should be."
"She likes his friend" Leon injected causing Rosalie to hit him.
"Right, you and the Jolly Green Giant are just friends. Though I know you'd prefer if he was more than friendly." Rosalie hit him harder causing him to groan. "Fuck Rose, for a girl you're awfully strong!"
Midge slapped his arm. He took a step back, moving away from the two girls. "I really think I need new friends who are either gay, or don't hit me."
"You'll be waiting a long time" Midge teased. "This is how we show we love you, don't change us" Rosalie added, a small smirk on her face.
Leon watched as Rosalie walked off, linking arms with Midge in the process.
"Where did I go wrong in life?"
"You're a gay traitor, that's where you went wrong" Reggie said. Leon turned around and lowered his head, avoiding the punch he knew Reggie wanted to give him.
Reggie looked at him confused. "How did you know-?" "That you're as predictable as you are stupid? It's common knowledge, known by anyone with at least half a brain."
A sound that reassembled a growl escaped Reggie's mouth. "Listen here you wanna be Southsider. You're not good enough to be considered one of us, you don't deserve to stand in this school, more importantly, you don't deserve the air you breathe."
"And you look like an unattractive version of Ken. Like seriously, I could give you to someone how you are and they'd actually think you were a doll" Leon replied with a chuckle.
Reggie stepped closer to him, only for Archie to stop a fight that would be disastrous. "Leave him, Reggie." Reggie scoffed. "You're not taking his side, right? Not after he brought them slimy snakes to your house." "Another time, Reg, another time."
Reggie walked away while Leon rolled his eyes. He turned to Archie. "I still don't like you." "I know, the feelings mutual."

Rosalie enjoyed when the Diner was quiet. She loved to sing while cleaning the tables and the floor, something she was unable to do when she had customers.
When she heard the familiar sound of the bell she sighed. She did enjoy her work, though she enjoyed it more when it was quiet.
"Hi, I'm Rosalie, I will be your waitress" she said with a smile.
