"What The Hell Happened?"

A half asleep Rosalie remained in the chair next to Fangs' bed. She was exhausted, she stuck true to her word, she didn't leave him, apart from when she needed to go to the toilet. 

One of the nurses went over to her. "Excuse me?" "Yes?" "Would you like anything? Perhaps a drink?" The nurse asked. "Yeah, a drink would be lovely, thank you." The nurse went off and came back with a bottle of water. "Thank you."

Rosalie remained silent as she sat alone with Fangs. She looked down at his unconscious figure and smiled slightly.

"I never thought I'd stay in a hospital room all night, especially not for someone other than myself. It's strange being here with you, though I wouldn't leave you alone."

She gently took his hand, her fingers running down the back of it, rubbing small circles.

"You need to wake up, Fangs. I miss the sound of your voice. I miss your stupid jokes. I miss the banter between you and Oscar. The boys, they're probably going mad with worry. My phone died, so I haven't been able to contact them."

A chuckle left her mouth as she looked out the window, her hand still holding his.

"Its funny, Jughead asked me if I was going to go to this Serpent meeting, I told him no, that I wasn't leaving you. When he told me it was mandatory, I said I didn't need to be there, that I'm not a Serpent, then my phone died."

"You are a Serpent." 

The voice caught Rosalie's attention. The voice that belonged to the unconscious boy. Was she hallucinating?

"Fangs?" 

"You are a Serpent" he repeated as his eyes fluttered open. "We all know you're a Serpent."

Rosalie's eyes started watering. "Oh, my God. Fangs, you're awake, you're okay." "Of course I'm okay. I don't plan on leaving, Bunny. You can't get rid of me" he told her, his voice hoarse.

The tears continued to fall down Rosalie's face as she smiled at the boy. He was finally awake. He was okay. Everything was going to be okay.

It was time for the battle between the Serpents and the Ghoulies. FP, Honey Bee and Sweet Pea were leading the group.

"This could be the end for us" FP told the siblings. "Then we die protecting our own, protecting our family" Sweet Pea replied.

A small smile was on FP's face as he looked at the boy. He had changed so much since he joined the Serpents. He wasn't as reserved as before, he cared about people, he learnt how to love.

They stopped at Pickens Park, where the Ghoulies were waiting for them. The Serpents were outnumbered, at least 10 to 1.

Leon gulped as his eyes scanned the crazed gang opposite him. "It's not even." "We don't have a choice" Oscar mumbled as he kept his eyes on the Ghoulies.

"It's not numbers that win battles, it's the people and their skills" Melanie told them.

Penny stood in front of the Ghoulies, opposite the Serpents, a grin on her face. "Oh Mighty Serpents, welcome to the end." The grin on her face was replaced with a sinister smile. "Let the fun begin."
