Melanie knew Rosalie was upset, though her niece wouldn't tell her why. She also knew Rosalie was yet to see Sweet Pea, at least since a few days ago.

She had enough of her niece being miserable, she needed to do something to help. That was why she stood outside Leon's house, she knew he would be willing to help.

The door opened and Leon smirked. "What's up Mel?" "I need you to take me to the place Serpents hang out, and we need to go now."

Leon's eyes widened at the older woman. "Did you find out what's going on with Sweetlie?" "No, but I'm going to" Melanie replied.

"Come on, I'll show you the way." Leon walked out of his house, locking the door behind him and got on his bike, while Melanie got in her car.

They drove to the Whyte Wyrm. Leon knocked on her window. "We've arrived." Melanie got out of her car, slamming the door behind her. "Let's go find this snake."

She was fuming, she was ready to kill and Leon was worried. Melanie wasn't a serpent, they wouldn't protect her like they did Rosalie, they didn't even know who she was, her going in guns blazing wouldn't be good.

The door's to the bar opened with a loud bang gaining everyone's attention. Melanie scanned the bar searching for one person, ignoring the looks she received from the men.

A growl escaped her mouth as she saw the tall Serpent playing Pool with Oscar.

"You!"

Everyone watched as she approached the confused boy. "Melanie?" He was shocked when he was pinned against the wall. "How dare you? How dare you hurt her? How dare you ignore her after hurting her? What did you do?"

Honey Bee, who saw the interaction ran over to them. She ripped the woman off her brother. "What do you think you're doing?"

"That bastard hurt my niece. If you think I'll allow him to walk without knowing why he did it, you're highly mistaken" Melanie hissed.

Sweet Pea stood between the two women. He turned his attention to his sister. "I'm fine, it's fine" he assured her. She was unconvinced, the woman seemed crazy, entering the bar and pinning a boy to the wall for hurting someone, her apparent 'niece'.

"I'm watching from the bar" she mumbled as she walked away, glaring at Melanie in the process.

Melanie turned her attention back to Sweet Pea, after briefly checking out the other woman. "What did you do?"

He took her arm and led her upstairs into one of the offices. "I'll repeat myself one last time, tell me what the fuck you did to upset her?"

"I know I fucked up, I'm a fuck up, it's what I do. She wanted to take things further, but I stopped her" he told her. "What? She wanted to get married?" Melanie was shocked her niece would want to commit to such a thing.

"No, no, she wanted to have sex" Sweet Pea said. Melanie looked at him with a raised eyebrow before bursting out laughing. "You're kidding? She wanted to have sex and you stopped her?"

Melanie had never heard anything so ridiculous in her life. He was a sixteen, maybe seventeen year old boy denying sex to a beautiful girl his age. She found it hilarious.
