"I Wasn't Sure If I Was Welcomed."

"I Don't Even Think Your Ex Is Here Tonight. Fear Not, You Can Stick, By My Side."

Oscar hated Riverdale High, he hated the people, he hated the teachers, he hated Reggie Mantle. There were only three things he liked about Riverdale High.

Number one: having the Serpents, his friends by his side.

Number two: they actually had toilets that worked, that flushed.

Number three: the girls.

There was no denying Oscar was sweet on the ex Pussycat leader, Josie McCoy. He was also attracted to Betty Cooper. He had been attracted to her since she done her dance at the Wyrm.

He was currently walking through the school, he had lost Leon and Fangs, who went off for a quickie somewhere. Rosalie was dragging Sweet Pea to class, not that he cared, he liked being with her, whatever they were doing.

It was no lie Oscar was lonely. Everyone around him seemed to have someone, well Toni didn't, but she was always with Jughead. He wanted someone to drag him around, to make him feel special.

Would he ever get what he wanted?

A groan escaped his mouth as he bumped into someone, they were smaller than him, though most people in the school were.

"Sorry" he mumbled. He looked to see the person he bumped into was none other than Betty Cooper.

"Fuck, I'm sorry, I hope I didn't hurt you. I'm sorry." He picked up her books that fell to the floor. "It's okay, I'm fine, honestly" she assured him.

He gave her the books and smiled at her. "You sure I can't make it up to you?" "Make it up to me?" she asked confused. He shrugged his shoulders. "Or maybe you need to make it up to me, after all it's as much your fault as it is mine."

"I tell you what, as a thank you for me picking up your books, you can take me to my next class" he suggested. Betty looked at him confused. "In all honesty, I have no idea where I'm suppose to be" he admitted causing her to chuckle.

"Have you got your schedule? That way I can take you" Betty said causing him to grin. He got out his schedule and handed it to the girl.

"I have the same class" she said causing him to grin. "Looks like fate wants us together." They both laughed as they started making their way to the classroom.

It was silent between the two, though Oscar kept glancing down at her. "How come I haven't seen you at the Wyrm?" "With Jughead and I being over, it feels strange going there" she admitted.

"Well you wouldn't be alone, I'd be there. I don't mean to brag, or maybe I do, but I'm a pretty cool guy." Just as Oscar finished his sentence he bumped into an open locker. "Are you okay?" Betty checked his head to see if there were any cuts, all she could see was a red mark from the hit, no blood.

"Yeah, hanging out with Leon and Fangs has got me prone to injury. I'm gonna start charging them" Oscar said causing the girl to laugh.

They stopped outside a classroom. "This is your, our class" Betty told him. "Next time I'm lost I'll just follow the prettiest blonde in school." Betty smiled as her face heated up before she walked to her seat.

Oscar shook his head before going to the empty desk at the back. He would walk Betty to class every day if he got to see her smile.
