Rosalie Wilde has dealt with a Whirlpool of emotions since the death of her best friend slash ex lover.
After making friends with a few Serpents, Rosalie's life was finally looking up, that is until a man with a Black Hood shot Fred Andrews.
No one...
The night was peaceful as Rosalie and Sweet Pea laid in bed together. Sweet Pea's head was on Rosalie's chest, listening to the steady beating of her heart, while she played with his hair.
It was moments like this they cherished, moments when they had nothing but the other for company.
Sweet Pea was able to look up at his girlfriend, he was able to admire her as she focused on the television. He could watch her face scrunch up in confusion, or the small smile that appeared when she saw something pleasant.
It was true Sweet Pea was in love with the girl, no one could deny it. Rosalie wasn't just his girlfriend, she was his best friend, his lover, the future mother of his children. He knew, one hundred percent, that he would marry her one day.
"Marry me?"
Rosalie's eyes widened as she looked at the boy on her chest. She was sure she misheard him. "I'm sorry, what did you say?"
"Marry me?" He repeated.
"We're only-"
"I'm not saying right away. I mean in the future. Promise me you'll marry me? Promise me you'll always be mine?" His voice was soft with each word he spoke. It was as if he was afraid of rejection, that the girl was going to leave him, tell him he wasn't good enough.
Rosalie gulped, she loved him, she loved him with all her heart, though she wasn't expecting him to ask her that, it was one of the most surprising things he ever did.
"Preston-"
"I got you a ring." Sweet Pea got out of the bed and went to his top drawer. "I was waiting for a better moment, though I doubt there will ever be one."
He got out a small box, all while Rosalie watched, too shocked to speak. He went on one knee at her side of the bed.
"Elena Rosalie Wilde, will you accept this ring and in return, promise to always be mine?"
Sweet Pea opened the box revealing the rose ring.
He waited for an answer. He watched as Rosalie remained silent. He was afraid, terrified, the minute of silence scared him.
"Princess?"
She let out a chuckle while shaking her head. "You're such a dork. But yes, I will, I promise."
He let out a relieved sigh as he put the ring on her finger. "I thought you are gonna say no" he admitted.
Rosalie let out a laugh. "I want you, Preston, only you and all of you."
While Sweet Pea wouldn't admit it, his intention was to propose to her. A promise would do, for now.
