"It's Real Bad, Rose. I Did Something Really Bad."

The loud yawn that escaped Rosalie's mouth made Oscar jump. He wasn't expecting her to wake up for another half an hour, that was why he and Sweet Pea were playing video games.
"Morning" she greeted the two boys. "Morning, Sugar" Oscar replied.
A grin was on his face as he looked at her. He gave the girl multiple looks during the day, the one that tells her she looks hot, the one that tells her she's needed, the most common look was the one he gave her when he was hungry.
Rosalie rolled her eyes as she looked at the two boys. "I assume you're both hungry?" "Aren't we always? I need food, I'm a growing and sexy boy" Oscar told her. "Growing? Yes. Sexy? Hell no" Sweet Pea mumbled.
"Any preferences today? Or should I let my imagination run wild" she asked teasingly. "Surprise us, Princess. The best things in life are surprises" Sweet Pea said. Oscar chuckled. "Yeah, like you falling for this jerk."
Rosalie laughed before she made her way to the kitchen. She knew exactly what to make them.
Oscar glanced at Sweet Pea, curious on his thoughts as he stared at the girl he was lucky enough to call his girlfriend. "Do you ever think you don't deserve your life?"
Sweet Pea turned to his friend confused. "What are you talking about this time?" "I mean, look at your life. You have a pretty sweet deal."
A loud scoff left Sweet Pea's mouth as he shook his head. How could Oscar think his life was 'Sweet'? Sure, he had a girl he never wanted, yet became everything he never knew he needed, one who calmed him down while he protected her, they kept each other balanced in that way. He still didn't think his life was sweet.
"Sweet deal? My parents left me alone with my sister. But yeah, my life is sweet" Sweet Pea said sarcastically.
"You don't need your parents. You have a family with us, with Rose." Oscar looked around the room, noticing the pictures of Rosalie's friends, including, and mainly the Serpents. "Look around, there's pictures of you, as if it was your own house."
Sweet Pea smiled as his eyes scanned the pictures. He paused as he noticed a picture of himself and Rosalie laughing, next to it was a picture that contained the couple as well as Melanie and Honey, both of them smiling.
A small smile was on Oscar's face as Sweet Pea continued to stare at the pictures. "I would kill for a family like this. You're luckier than you know, Sweets." "I guess my life isn't that bad."
Ten minutes past before Rosalie returned to the room. She was carrying a tray with three plates of pancakes, all of them containing chopped up strawberries and chocolate sauce.
"Food for two of my favourite boys." Rosalie handed them a plate, leaving one for her. "I'm your number one though, right?" Oscar joked. "Oh Ozzy, you're the only one for me" Rosalie replied sarcastically.
Oscar's eyes glanced down to the food and he sighed. "You truly love us." "Somebody has to look after you" Rosalie said before heading back to the kitchen. She returned carrying three cans of coke.
"Have you got anymore strawberries?" Oscar asked as he took a strawberry and put it in his mouth. "Shut up" Sweet Pea told him.
Moments like they were currently sharing reminded Sweet Pea how lucky he was, how much his life had changed in 7 months. He didn't want it to ever end.
