Lisa's POV

It's been five days since I saw Jennie. I looked on my side to see no one. Jennie isn't here. I feel empty. As much as I want to keep Jennie by my side and be a selfish liar forever, I couldn't do that.

I don't want to lie to someone so dear to me, "She was innocent, and I took advantage of it." I said, playing with my ring.

Everything that had happened to me, I deserved it. I look down at my fidgeting hands before unclasping them. My palm is trembling, and my lips start to quiver.

My vision became a blur, and I burst into tears. I can feel every inch of my chest aching so much. I never realized I was this deeply in love with her.

She was so perfect. I knew I didn't have a chance, but I still went for it. This place holds too many memories of us. She was just a few steps away from here, and I don't think I could bear it.

Mr. Kim gave us one more day before leaving his condo for good. I need to buy a house far away but close enough to visit Jisoo from time to time —

She's staying with Jennie. It's what his uncle wanted for her to do. However, she still works for us. Her reason was because she didn't want to leave her friends behind.

Jackson and V luckily found a house not so far from the one I'm going to be checking —

However, don't get me wrong. We're not neighbors. We spread out.

I stood up from my bed before taking a cold shower. I need to see if this house is worth buying or not. I need to move out tonight. I also need to meet up with the three because they volunteered to help me.

-

"Hey-hey, grim!" I rolled my eyes. "Ooo, feisty, I like that." Jackson teased me.

"If you aren't a friend of mine. My fist would've landed on your face already."

Jisoo pats my shoulder. "You two stop teasing Lisa. She's had enough of problems already." I smiled weakly at her.

Everybody came very close during school. I'm happy about that. If my happiness isn't love, it's okay. I have annoyingly great friends around me.

"So this is the house?" I questioned.

"Yeah, it looks good, right? It looks tiny, but it's not

"Yeah, it looks good, right? It looks tiny, but it's not." Jisoo pulled me hurriedly inside.

"And it fits your personality." V joked.

I swear to kill these two when Jisoo is not looking.

"It does look pretty. I like it. How much?"

V looked proud at their find. "About four to five million, if you convert it to dollars, furniture included." He looks over to the real estate agent, "Right?" The agent nods and proceeds to show us all over the house.

As I looked around, I found many things a person can ask. A pool table, a pool, a garden, and plenty more —

The part that caught my eye was the office. Oh, how pretty black looks on everything. "I'll take it."

"Okay, ma'am. When are you planning on getting the house? We can go to my office and discuss more —"

I gave him a check. "I wrote it earlier when I was looking around. Today or possibly right now — is when I want to take it."

V and Jackson left to get my clothes and things in the apartment. Jisoo was left talking with the agent.

Jisoo can be pretty scary, and I can see the fear in the agentʼs eyes. She's been making sure that this house doesn't have any flaws. I chuckled as I saw her asking for more questions.

The view is nice, inside and out. The house screams rich even though — it's not that heavy in the pocket.

I made my way to my car to stop by a liquor store. Tonight is the night to celebrate my heartbreak.

Here at the store. I bought every liquor I know. I wasn't a money waster when it came to nonsense stuff. However, tonight is an exception.

Going to a bar and getting laid is not what I want. I just want to live a normal life without being a pain in my own ass.
