(A/N: I saw some people following me, and I didn't want to disappoint. Here is a rushed short update because later I'll be at a game convention.")
Jennieʼs POV.
"Lisa, we are here again. Well, not everyone is here yet. But I bought Jennie this time." Jisoo said, peeking into the room. Jisoo held my hand, reassuring me that everything was okay.
I can't possibly think very positively like that.
I've been blaming myself since yesterday. I didn't get any wink of sleep because I felt so guilty. We both stayed silent seconds before entering the room.
It shattered my heart when I saw Lisa lying down with wires around her and a heart monitor to keep her heart in check. People can't say that it isn't my fault when it's because of me being such a bitch and blocking her.
I miss Lisa a lot. "Talk to her, Jennie. I don't think she can hear us, but it's worth trying." I nod before smiling. I'm too weak for this. I nonetheless regret nothing about this.
What I mean is going and being here.
"I'll leave you both to talk." She squeezes my hand before leaving.
I watched Jisoo close the door before heading my way to Lisaʼs side. "Lisa, hi..." My voice shakes. "Did you have a hard time without me?" I pout, trying to keep myself from crying.
I sat next to her and held her hand. "I promise when you wake up. I'll fight for us, just like you did." I kiss her palm. I stood and gently caressed her cheek. "Please wake up soon."
I don't plan on quitting school, but I plan on coming here every day. Some parts of her body are very purple with a mix of built-up blood marks — This is making me panic.
Maybe Jisoo was right?
No.
I'm already here. I want to be with Lisa.
"Please wake up, Lisa." I can't tell how much I was shaking, but my body was starting to buzz and numb up. My chest feels too heavy to carry. I held Lisaʼs hand tightly, wishing for her to wake up.
Somebody rubs my back. I looked over to see V smiling weakly towards me. "You can cry it out, Jennie. Everything will be okay, so don't worry too much." He said.
What he said made me cry. I know I look ugly, crying like somebody significant to me has died. The person I love is next to me and seems paralyzed. I can't help but feel so bad and angry at myself.
I went to hug V and wept more. "Grim is lucky to have you. Trust in her always. She wants the best for everyone." He pats my head.
"Will she forgive me?" I suddenly asked, getting away from the hug. I went back and held Lisaʼs hand.
"Of course, she will." He assures me. "I'll buy you something to drink. Stay with our boss, okay?" I nod.
I slowly rub my cheeks with her fingers. I miss her warmth, and I miss her hugs. I miss her kisses and everything. "Wake up soon, Lili."
"Lili, eh?"
I looked up to see Lisa smiling, her eyes closed. "Hi, Kitty." I frowned, about to hit her arm for the lame nickname. "Think twice, Kitty." She said, smiling a bit wider this time.
I put my arm down and pout. "That's still lame." I stood up and went to the door. She asked worriedly about where I was going. "I'm gonna call the nurses, Lili." She slowly nodded and calmed.
I closed the door behind me and sprinted. "Excuse me! — " I paused. "My girlfriend is awake. Can you please assist us?"

A/N:
Pretty short, I know, and I'm sorry.
