A/N: Anybody wanna see me livestream games on twitch?Lisaʼs POV.
"Mom!" I greeted her with a hug after opening the door. I haven't seen her in ages! Well, it felt like it. I hugged her as tight as I could, not as tight that could kill her.
"Hey, sister. Mom said you got yourself a lady." He smirked while giving me his best side-eye. He peeked beside me, looking at Jennie, who was holding behind a small piece of my top. "Hi there, you look shy. You don't want to greet your brother-in-law?" He jokes.
Jennie smiled awkwardly and held her head down. "Stop teasing, Jungkook. Don't you have a girlfriend of your own?" I asked.
"Your brother is famous with the ladies, but he never dared to look at them. He might be gay." My mother whispered the last part. However, it was still loud enough for all of us to hear.
"I am not, excuse you, mother." We all laughed. I took a glance over at Jennie, and she was quiet.
"Hi, dear." My mom approached Jennie while Jungkook and I were bickering. Jennie bowed and took my mother's hands for a shake. "Your name is Ruby Jane. Am I right, dear?" She nods.
"My name is Jennie Ruby Jane Kim, ma'am." My mother gasps.
"A Kim! My daughter is dating Jennie Kim. Oh, how wonderful!" Jennie smiled shyly. Jungkook and I looked at each other confusingly. Jungkook asked her if she knew Jennie. "Her family is well-known. Don't tell me you don't know, you imbecile." My mom jokes. I'm used to it. We joke around like that all the time.
I call her Pigs in a Blanket, she calls JK Junkie. It's all good— no red flags in this family.
Jungkook made a low blow sound before looking at the ceiling. "Harsh, but deserved." He failed to whisper.
"Why you!" I scream.
Okay, it's like this. Imagine two toddlers running around the house, chasing each other, but the other one is running like it's the end of their life — all because of some stolen candy from my buttcheeks, AKA my dignity.
Don't ask why I said in my buttcheeks. It's my way of expressing myself.
"You're old! You can't catch me. Wrinkly grandma!"
I kept running, and as soon as I almost got this bitch. My mother went in front of me and pulled me by the ear.
Fuck, who is this? Jennie 2.0?
I rubbed my ear when she let go of me. "What was that for, Ma?" (Ma, in a Country accent.)
She puts her hands on her hips, just like Jennie. I eyed my girlfriend, and she was doing the same thing! Too much for loving dominant women —
"Lisa, is this how much you've matured? Your girlfriend is here, and you chose to act so childishly? Don't you have any respect for your soon-to-be wife?"
I choked on my spit and coughed like I was dying. "Wife? Soon-to-be?" I looked over at Jennie, and she was giggling.
Sheʼs not mad? Thank God! I thought marriage was such a massive phase for her. But she seems to be comfortable being my wife. "I'll be right back," I told them and went directly to the bathroom.
I closed the door shut, held my heart, and cursed in my head in repeat.
Jennie as my wife? Holy shit, I wish. How do I make my heart stop beating so fast? Is this still normal? Am I going to be in a cardiac arrest?
No, I hope not.
Not till I get Jennie pregnant ten times, and not till I'm old.
I walk by the mirror and glance at myself. "I'm so red," I whispered to myself. I can't wait to be on one knee and ask for marriage.
"Lisa?" Jennie knocks calmly. "Can you open the door, please?" I looked at myself twice before opening the door slowly. "What's wrong, Lili?" I shook my head to a no. "Tell me, I know something is on your mind." She carries my cheeks.
"So warm." I took her hands and pressed them more on my cheeks. "I promise you, nothing is wrong, nini."
"Your cheeks are so red." I moved as far as I could and faced the wall on the corner. "Eh?"
"Don't look at my face."
Silence.
"PFHAHAHA! Oh my god, you are so adorable! Come here, it's about the marriage your mom told you about, huh? What were you thinking?" She went near me and massaged my shoulders.
I slowly turned around, looking at her directly in the eyes. "I want to marry you, Jennie Kim."
