cameron is what you'd consider 'popular.'

toby was considered an 'outcast.'

the two of them definitely didn't mix, nor would anyone think they would have so much in common.

but cameron couldn't help but notice the quiet kid. toby and him had multiple classes together through out the day, 3 exactly.

toby always sat in the very back, keeping to himself and doodling all over his notes.

while cameron sat near the front and never stopped talking. he would always get yelled by teachers for speaking during lessons.

and when cameron asked toby to come to the homecoming dance with him he was beyond shocked.

"what? why me?"

cameron shrugged and fiddled with the string in his jacket, "i don't know. i think you're cute"

toby's face flushed, "o-okay."

"you're adorable. i'll pick you up friday night at 6. dance starts at 8 but i want to take you somewhere first. dress nice, cutie."

cameron kissed toby's cheek and walked away. before breaking eye contact he winked at him and toby blushed darker.

a jock just asked him to the dance, a jock and an outcast, sounds like a terrible fanfiction.
