eric shook his head at the video game in front of him. he hated fortnite but john had invited him to play and he seemed pretty desperate. it was john, toby, and smiity in the call. john said he tried to get fitz in but he was busy with something. which caused eric to frown. him and cam have been dating for awhile now, but they don't talk or hang out as much as they did when they were friends. and when they were together they argued about little things. 

their relationship wasn't exactly toxic, but they argued to much in order for it to be considered healthy. 

eric excused himself from the session, murmuring an apology before logging off discord. he pulled his phone out and texted cameron, telling him he was coming over so they could talk. the short male knew they needed to address the problems they were having. eric loved cameron and he knew cam loved him but they argued to much and never even see each other. its not healthy. 

eric got into his car, turning it in and turning the radio up almost all the way. trying his best to drown his negative thoughts in his mind. hopefully everything goes over smoothly.

it did not go so smooth. eric tried his best to talk about the problems going on but cam took it the wrong way. now they are both stood staring each other down angerly. 

"cameron i'm just trying to say we don't spend a lot of time together and it's making it difficult." 

"you don't think i know that?! eric im sorry i've been so busy but i need to get content out or else i'll lose fans. im about halfway down with editing this video and then we can go do something okay?" 

eric shook his head, "no cam you don't get it. i miss being with you everyday. before we were together we would always hang out, what happened to that?" 

"i don't know. if it's bothering you that much then move in with me!" cameron was clearly frustrated. his face was red and he was shaking a lot, he almost seemed like he was about to cry. cameron loved eric and he really was sorry he couldn't spend time with him as much. but he got anxious if he doesn't upload at least a week after the other video. the blonde is a workaholic. 

"i can't do that. we just got settled into the misfits manor, and the boys need me there. they'll burn down the house without me." 

"well then what the fuck do we do eric?!" cameron raised his voice and caused eric to step backwards. 

the boys stood in silence before eric broke it with a whisper, "cam maybe we should break up." 

the taller felt his heart drop, tears immediately stinging his eyes after hearing those words. 

"i love you a lot cameron, i really do. but we argue to much, way more then we should. maybe we can try again at a better time okay? i love you cam, but it can't work." 

eric tried to step towards cam, to give him a hug. but the taller boy stepped away. eric felt his heart break at the sight of camerom stepping away from him. his red face and watering eyes. the male sighed before turning away and walking out the door. 

camerom broke as soon as he heard the door click shut. tears streaming from his eyes and hiccups echoing across the room as he cried harder. his body shook and he threw himself into his bedroom. 

his energy disappearing with every tear that fell, the blonde soon fell asleep.

eric was angry, more at himself. how could he ruin such an amazing relationship? he could of tried to make time for cameron. but he didn't even try, he just broke it off. 

he was hurting a lot more then he expected. as tears stung his eyes he threw things across the room. flipping over tables and smashing lamps. 

it was to late, their relationship couldn't be saved now.
