Jasmine.

I gripped the brush in my hand while grooming my hair for this evening. We're supposed to be meeting everyone on the tour so we'll be comfortable around them.

"What to do with my hair," I said lowly to myself.

I clicked my tongue against my top lip before wrapping my hair around my hand then releasing it with a sigh. A messy bun sounds really good right now. I grabbed my hair tie then parted my hair in a half up, half down before wrapping it around the top part of my hair.

Good enough.

"Girl, are you going out looking like that?" Shay pointed to my hair.

"Yes. Problem," I glared at her.

"A very big one. August will not accept this," She shook her head.

I laughed. "Girl, please. I'm not trying to impress him. Only Saiah," I smiled, referring to his nick name.

She rolled her eyes. "Oh my God," She grumbled. "Isaiah is not August."

"And August isn't Isaiah," I smirked.

"Whatever. You're lucky and you don't even know it," She walked out of the bathroom.

Ok...

I sighed before plugging in my hair krinkler. After scrolling on my phone for 5 minutes, the iron had heated up. I placed my phone back on the counter before beginning to section off my hair.

~~~
The mood was delightful. Everyone was friendly and gave off great first impressions. Shay had left me for Jacquees since the two had been eyeing each other the whole night.
"What you doin' in this corner all by ya' self," Someone said beside me.
I turned my head in their direction with a grin, instantly recognizing the voice. The fine and intelligent, Kirko Bangz. Lord, the things I would do to him.
"Oh. Nothin," I said, keeping my cool.
He chuckled. "You ain't gotta act cool around me. Just be ya self," He smiled.
"Mhm. I'm-,"
"Jasmine. I know," He finished my sentence.
How?
"Oh. That's," I paused. "Nice," I said in a questioning tone.
He shook his head. "Come here," He waved his hand in the direction of the couches before walking toward them.
I followed behind him while clutching onto the clear cup in my hand full of Ciroc. I know I'm not old enough to drink, but August doesn't care what we do as long as we make it to rehearsal on time and on task.
I took a seat on the plush red couch beside Kirko with a small, seductive smirk out lining his pink lips.
"What," I asked before sipping my drink.
"Nothing. You just look beautiful tonight."
I smiled. "Thank you.
"So, I heard about you and August little beef," He said as he stirred his straw around his cup.
I laughed. "Nah. He was just- I don't know how to say it," I ran my fingers through my hair. "He was riding me more than the other dancers. He apologized, though, but after the damage was done."
"He probably sees potential in you. That's all. Also, he might be trying to cover up some feelings," He suggested.
"What? No feelings involved," I chuckled.
