Jasmine.

I yawned as I stared in the mirror with Trey's two other dancers beside me. I stood in the middle of our diamond with my hands resting at my sides, waiting for the music to start. Mr. Steal Your Girl slowly started up as we bent over to touch our ankles and rub our hands slowly up our legs with a straight back. I stood up straight and ticked my hips to the rhythm of the beat before throwing my head back, allowing my hair to tickle my bare back. I rotated my neck clockwise while running my fingers down my chest. I felt this dance routine was more sexual, but the song gives off a sexy vibe as well.

After we finished going over that routine, Trey applauded us then pushed himself off the wall he was resting on. He walked into the front of the room where we were.

"Jasmine, for your first day learning the dance you did great. Ki'loni, Abby, y'all did amazing, too. I'm telling y'all, if we keep this up, plenty of people will be booking y'all. Rehearsals dismissed," He said then walked toward his phone.

We nodded in sync then approached our gym bags. I grabbed mine then snatched my water bottle out of the pouch before taking a quick sip. I had to hurry out so I could catch the next flight to Alaska.

"Aye, Jasmine," Trey called once everyone left.

"Uh, yeah," I answered uneasily.

"August still mad? I tried callin' him but he won't answer," He said then licked his lips.

"Oh. Um, yeah. You should've said something to him about it," I said, gripping the straps on my bag as my stomach became queasy.

"I thought I did, but it must've slipped my mind," He said nonchalantly then grabbed a cigar from behind his ear.

"Okay. I need to go," I said, trying to walk to the exit.

"Where you headed? I might could take you," He suggested.

"Alaska. If you can drive across the ocean and get me there in a short amount of time, then sure," I said sarcastically.

"I'll just drive you to the airport then," He suggested

"Hmm...Okay," I agreed.

We walked out of the building together, leading to his SUV parked right in the front. He opened my car door for me then jogged over to his side. We both got in.

"Would you like for me to call August and you talk to him then," I asked as he started up the car.

"Mmm. Nah. This ain't the first time we've been in to it, so Ima give him his time to cool off 'cause he obviously not ready to talk," He said, gripping the wheel with one hand and driving down the street.

"Oh," I said simply, nodding my head.

"I already know that he thinks I'm after you, but that's not the case. You're a good dancer and I thought you'd be perfect for my set. I didn't know his tour was going all the way up to March. I thought it ended at the end of December," He admitted.

"Tell him that because he thinks opposite. I know that all of this is harmless fun, right?"

"Yeah. Just strictly business," He said then looked over at me with a smile. "Quick question: Where's your luggage?"

"Shay and Bahja has it. I have two outfits in this bag," I answered.

"Oh. Okay."

The ride consisted of nothing else but random conversation as he drove me to the airport.
