A/N: I changed my mind. Instead, there will be slow updates. Donovan on the side.

Jasmine.

Donovan willingly walked into my outstretched arms, hugging me. He squeezed the life out of me as I did the same. I hadn't seen my best friend in months and he's finally home from the army. The war is still going on but he was able to come home after coming up with some lie that they believed. He kissed the side of my forehead then removed himself out of my grasp and took a step back to examine me.

"Who got yo' light bright ass glowing?" He asked.

I shrugged, smiling. "I don't know. I can't be happy?"

"August dick you down?" He twisted his lips and looked me up and down.

"No!" I shouted then turned around and walked to the exit with him following beside me.

"Something happened. Now talk." He demanded.

"I don't have to listen to you." I joked while covering my ears then got in the driver seat of my brand new Mustang.

"Who bought this?" He asked, getting in the passenger seat after putting his bags in the trunk.

"I did. With my money." I said.

"Now, back to my first question, who has you glowing?" He looked over at me.

"August, of course." I answered.

He shifted in his seat with a surprised expression. "Oh my. You guys are back together?" He smiled.

"Yeah." I nodded.

"I'm proud of you, sis. Finally not being so uptight." He chuckled.

I punched his arm then glanced over at him with a frown. "I don't act uptight."

"Yes. You do. Now fill me in on what's been going on with your life." He nagged while playfully hitting my arm repeatedly.

"I'll be on the Between the Sheets tour as a dancer for Trey Songz and...I found out that August was actually dating the Nicole girl the whole tour but they're broken up and I'm his main priority right now. Basically, life is good. Besides that rough patch me and August continuously stayed on." I joked.

"I'm glad to see you happy. That's all that matters." He smiled.

"Thanks, Dee. I really appreciate it." I admitted then stopped at a red light.

"No problem, young one. So where we headed?" He bellowed then cleared his throat.

"Our new apartment." I boasted with a smile.

"In Atlanta? And August has no problem with me living with you? Because if so, I have no problem helping you find a new place to stay." He babbled with a laugh.

I glared over at him with a straight face before answering him. "Yes and yes. But I'm wating for him to give me a key to his place so I can slowly move in." I answered honestly.

"I knew girls did that for real. I knew it." He chuckled.

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes. "Like I was saying. A few of my things are already at his place. He also said he wouldn't mind whenever I decided to move in."

"Okay so why haven't you moved in?" He asked and waved his hand out at me.

"Because that's a big step right now. I'd rather me slowly move in than just move in right now. We just resolved our issues and who knows how long before another one comes along." I sighed while shaking my head.
