Jasmine.

Yesterday at August's was great, but today we have auditions for Aaliyah's replacement. Honestly, I'm not looking forward tp it. Another something or someone I have to worry about, but then again, I already laid down the rules to August.

I pressed down on my lock button to turn off my screen once the dancers began entering the room. Shay and I walked toward the front of the room together with warming smiles.

"I'm Jasmine --"

"And I'm Shay."

"And we're going to teach you guys some simple dances to see where you're at," I notified them.

They nodded. I walked to the stereo and pressed play as Body Language softly blared from the speakers.

"Okay. First we're going to cross our left foot behind our right and come up on relevé," Shay spoke lightly.

We did a quick demonstration before giving them a try. First few times we completed it with them and kind've watched them through the mirror.

"Okay. Good," I complimented them. "Now we'll add arm movements..."

The resumé papers flew out of my hand in frustration. I was stuck between three good dancers. Hell, they were amazing. The sound of a door creaking caused me to lift my head. Isaiah sent me a warm smile as he took a seat across from me.

"Why you look so down," He playfully pouted.

"This is a hard decision," I sighed. "These girls are great and each bring something different," I answered.

"Really," He asked, surprised.

"Yeah. Really," I chuckled.

"Not to be in your business or anything, but why is August having you pick the dancers," He looked at me with those soft hazel eyes.

"Oh, um, I think you know why," I blushed in slight embarrassment.

He nodded while chuckling. "I remember."

There was an awkward silence between us for a while, but then I felt a pair of eyes on me so I looked up and they belonged to August. He shot me a quick smile while leaning against the doorframe.

"How the 'choosin the dancer' thing going," He asked.

Isaiah looked between us before rising from his seat and leaving the auditorium.

"Uh," I looked at the papers in distress, "not so good."

"How come," He sat in Isaiah's previous seat.

"I'm torn between three dancers," I whined.

"How 'bout this," he chuckled. "I cut the boys and you can have those three girls."

I jetted my eyes to his face in hopes of finding a joking expression, but his smirk showed no signs. He was serious and I know exactly why.

"You have fun finalizing the dancers and I'll go unwillingly crush some dreams," August stated while standing from his chair.

"Okay. You do that," I sighed while running my fingers through my bone straight hair.

He stepped over to my side before gently grabbing the sides of my face and placing a tender kiss on my red stained lips.

"Don't be too upset. It's for the best," He patted my shoulder.

My eyes never left the table until the door slammed shut. If anything, I want Rose gone, not Saiah.
