Jasmine.

The silence in the room was mellow, but the tension, it was thick. I was about ready to rip his head off because he wouldn't admit it. He kept denying and denying with lies after lies.

"Will you just be honest with me," I shouted while pushing the side of his head.

"I am. And keep ya damn hands off me," He threatened, glaring at me.

"I don't care. I do what I want. Your feelings are irrelevant right now because I'm the one being lied to and it's hurtful. Just tell me so I won't be in so deep with you," I sighed.

"You scared Ima hurt you? If that was the case then I would've kept bein' mean to you in rehearsals."

"If I am a side chick, just let me know," I said in frustration. "I don't like liars and everything you do and have done keeps telling me I am."

"Like what," He asked with attitude.

"That tweet from when we first met, the roses, the card, the phone calls..." I stopped. "The list goes on."

"Seriously? One time somebody gives me roses you wanna go A-wall? If I would've known it would upset you, I wouldn't have took them," He rolled his eyes and laid back onto his bed. "It is five in the morning and you got me up for this mess," He snarled.

"Yes. I sure do have you up, but it's not even the roses. It's the card--" I looked at his face with showed no type of interest. "You don't get it," I whispered.

"I don't," He shouted, causing me to jump. "Look, I'm sorry for raising my voice, but I don't understand what's getting into you."

"You're lying to me. That's the problem. I don't like being lied to and you should know why. Don't take my innocence for granted just for your pleasure," I whined, plopping down on the bed beside him.

"Alright. Look, moral to the story," He paused. "Nicole is an on and off girlfriend of min--"

"That's all you had to say," I said, raising from the bed, but he grabbed my arm and pulled me back down.

"Listen. We're off right now and--"

"That doesn't mean you start another relationship with somebody else and make them believe they're the only one. You took advantage of me. After I told you not to," I yelled, yanking my arm out of his grip.

"I'm not taking advantage of you, babygirl. I've actually grown to love you and I'm thinking about--"

"Stop. Just stop," I declined with my hands up.

He sighed and tugged at his chin hairs. "You told me to be honest with you and I did."

"Yeah. Be honest- not try to cover it up by lying to me about--" He cut me off by mashing his lips into mine and holding onto the back of my neck with his other hand on my waist.

I roughly grabbed his arms and shoved him away from me. I wiped my mouth on my sleeve while staring at him with a smug look.

"The audacity," I grumbled, stomping out of his room.

When I reached my hotel room, I fell face first into my bed and bawled my eyes out for the rest of the night.

The Next Morning.

I sighed while placing my shades over my eyes. I am not in the mood to deal with August this morning, but too bad I have to.

"Um, Jas," Bahja called, approaching me from behind.
