Jasmine.

I stared at him a while longer before giving him an answer.

"Look, I know it's an amazing opportunity and all that, but I would rather discuss it with my boss first," I said.

He nodded. "I totally understand. Loyalty is key with Aug," He said then entered the building.

"Lord. Why are you testing me," I whined, throwing my hands up.

I walked back into the crowded building, noticing that everyone in our entourage was preparing to go. August approached me with a smile before wrapping his arm around my shoulders, pulling me into his chest then leaning down to my ear.

"What happened on that balcony with Trey," He whispered, rubbing his nose against my cheek.

"I'll talk to you about it when we get to the buses," I said.

"Okay. I'll wait."

We walked out of the club, still clinging onto each other when flashes started coming our way. I removed myself from his grasp quickly and walked ahead of him with my hand covering my face. I just hope the paparazzi didn't get us.

. . .

Everyone stood around the buses, waiting for the men to finish loading on our bags. August came beside me and pulled me away from the group.

"So what happen," He asked, resting his back against the bus.

I took a deep breath before answering. "Trey offered me a job to be his dancer for the tour with Chris and Tyga," I said uneasily.

He nodded slowly. "I mean, if that's what you wanna do, then do it. I know this is probably is a big opportunity for you and I don't want to hold you back from your dreams. I saw it happen to my mama and I don't wanna do it to you, so...I suggest you take it. I'm not touring no more after this. Ima get some rest," He joked, chuckling.

I hugged him tightly and let out a sigh of relief. "Thank you. I promise I won't let you down."

"Bet' not," He said, patting my back.

"Please tell me you aren't mad," I pleaded, looking up at him.

"Not at you. He should've came to me before he went to you, but Ima handle that shit later," He grumbled.

I stayed silent then moved away from him and headed to the rest of the group with him walking beside me. Half of me wanted to not take this job, but I want this opportunity. I feel like I could get found by doing this with them. I could get founded doing this with August. He's as famous as them, but if I keep getting booked like this, I can become extremely famous (for the right reasons).

My phone notifications began blowing up with tags, mentions and comments. I clicked on one of the tags and it was August and I leaving the club, hugged up together.

"August's new boo for the week," I read to myself in a panic.

My breathing increased as sweat beads formed on my forehead. This isn't good. This so not good. I don't want nothing going bad for August and I don't need Alsina Nation angry with me or trying to kill me. I ran my fingers down my face and sighed as I boarded onto my bus.

August.

As I got on my bus, my phone started jumping off the hook. I rolled my eyes and powered my phone off because I wasn't in the mood for this. I was more focused on Trey's snake ass going behind my back and tryna take my dancer-- hell nah. It's deeper than that. The nigga tryna take my girl. Ion take kindly to that either. Plus, this tour aint over until March.

"Yo, Trav, can I talk to you for a second," I asked, sitting across from him in the booth.

"Yeah. What's up, little brother," He said, putting his assignment to the side. See, I trust him enough to be my accountant so that's what he's working on.

"Trey offered Jasmine a job to be his back up dancer for their tour or whatever. He never mentioned it to me so I'm mad as hell, but I wanna know what would you do," I asked then sat back in the seat.

He rubbed his chin, thinking. "You have a right to be mad, but don't go to him right now. Give him a chance to come clean and if he don't, then you can kill him."

I nodded. "Alright. I like that idea. Anyway, I told her to take the job," I paused for his input.

"Why?"

"I didn't wanna hold her back from her dreams and I could tell she really wanted to do it. We witnessed mam's be robbed off her dreams and I don't wanna do that to Jas," I explained.

"Aug, that's your problem. You're selfless. You need to start thinking about you and not everybody else. You put people first and you need to put yourself first," He scolded.

I rolled my eyes. "I know. You tell me this all the time and I can't do it. I got too big of a heart."

"Man, I don't know what to tell ya', but I have a feeling this not gon' end well," He said, sighing.

"How come," I asked.

"Do you even plan on staying with her while she tours with them? I suggest you don't to save you both the heartache," He stated then shook his head.

"Why do I feel like you're throwing shade," I asked, chuckling.

"I'm not. You can't control yourself around other women and she probably won't be able to either. You're friends are very persuasive people, so be careful," He said.

I nodded. "Alright. I mean, I get where ya' comin' from, but you don't think I've changed?"

"I believe you can, but y'all relationship has some major damage to it," He stated then rose from his seat. "I'm about to get some sleep. Love you, man."

"Yeah. Love you, too."

Was Travis really right? Is our relationship that damaged that we can't even go on separate tours and be able to trust one another?

"Aug!"

I turned around to see Andrew running in my direction with his phone in his hand.

"Man, look at this," He exclaimed, handing me the phone.

I looked at it and it was Jasmine and I leaving the club. This is not going to end well.
