Jasmine.
I crossed my left foot over my right with my hands mimicking the exact same thing in a follow up effect. I prepared for the piroutte I was about to do. After that, I dropped my hands down to my side then began marching my feet in place with Ki'Loni marching in front of me and Abbey marching behind me. I placed my hand on her shoulder as Abbey placed hers on mine then we slightly bent over while bouncing our shoulders slowly and bending our knees, lowering into a squat. I took my hand off her shoulder and placed them on the floor with our heads down and in my case, my hair carelessly falling over my face. This was the ending to our dance routine to Foreign and it's cute in my opinion.
After thinking long and hard, I decided to just tour with Trey to test the waters. It seems like it could be a great experience for me to learn how artist work behind the scenes and how they are as humans. With them being veterans in the industry, I felt they would have some knowledge to lay on me. Usher could have, but I never was around him enough. Anyways, if I don't like it, I come home. Nothing or no one seems negative so I'm sure I'll be fine.
"That was great. Take five," The choreographer said, walking to the exit door.
I walked over to my gym bag and grabbed my water. As I took a long sip, I felt a pair of eyes burning holes into my skin. I spun around on my heels to lay my eyes upon Ki'Loni and Abbey who were sitting beside each other. My face scrunched up, wondering why they were staring.
"Not to be creepy or anything, but we were admiring your hair length. How'd you get it that long," Abbey asked.
"Oh. This isn't all mine. I have extensions." I admitted, chuckling.
"Oh." They gasped in unison.
"Yeah. It just looks like my real hair, but my actual hair is about to here," I said, pointing to my collarbone.
"That's cool. So, have you made up your mind about touring with us? Because I feel like you'd be great," Ki'Loni said, smiling.
"Yeah." I nodded. "I'll be dancing with you guys."
"Yas. You seem like a nice person and we didn't want him to hire the next girl who was a complete bitch." Abbey snarled.
"Who?"
"Aaliyah," They answered in unison.
"She dances for Chris and she would've danced for Trey, but he saw you at that party in Chicago. He said he looked you up and saw your dancing on YouTube and Instagram. It's all quite fascinating," Ki' said.
"What? He saw me at a party?"
"And with August when he performed with him, but he didn't want to ask August because he was afraid he'd say no." Abbey answered.
"How do you guys know all of this," I asked, sitting in front of them on the wooden floor.
"He asked us how we felt about him hiring you. He said all four of us together on one stage can make fire or something weird like that." Ki' chuckled.
"Wow. That's cool." I smiled.
Our instructor entered the room with her hands on her hips.
"Okay. Guys, break time over. Up, up, up." Her annoying voice sang.
We groaned and rose to our feet before taking our places and going over the dance routine to I Know (Can't Get Back).
. . .
I giggled lightly as August tried to kiss my sensitive spot while my shoulders were hunched up, hiding my neck. We were out having ice cream before the show which is in Houston.
"How was rehearsals," He asked, settling back into his seat.
"They were fine. Trey wasn't there because I know you want to know." I chuckled then put a spoonful of ice cream into my mouth.
"That's good. I plan on speaking to him sometime soon," He said, pushing his ice cream around with his spoon.
"Do you know what you're going to say?"
"Yeah. I want to know why he didn't come to me about you and that's probably it unless he gets out of line," He said sternly.
"I know, but I think it'll be fine, babe," I said, rubbing his hand.
"Sure...Anyways, don't forget about that deal we made. He, or anyone of them, make any moves, you call me ASAP."
"Yeah. Dominique try anything then you call me so I can catch an emergency flight and beat her ass and yours because you let her get that close," I said, smirking.
"Oh. So is that how it is?" He smiled, leaning across the table.
"Yeah. Always like that." I said softly then pecked his lips.
"Nah. I'm tellin' you and mark my words, she won't ever come close to you or even be anywhere near me when you're gone. Okay?"
"Alright. Fine and if you break this promise, Ima knock you out," I said sternly, glaring at him.
"I'm not. You don't trust me or something? I'm very trustworthy." He smiled, chuckling.
"Now let's not lie. And I'm not all the way there with the trust yet. Okay? Give me some time. It'll take a little while." I sighed then leaned back into my seat.
"Okay. My bad."
"Yeah. Guess who else I'll be touring with."
"Who?" The curiosity in his voice was so adorable.
"Aaliyah. She dances for Chris now." I rolled my eyes and played with the ends of my hair.
"Aw man. You sure you still wanna be around that? She hates you." He stiffled up his laughter.
"Really? It's not funny." I threw the top from my ice cream cup at his head. "I don't care if she's there or not. I'm still touring with him. I probably won't even be around her often."
"Probably, but just be safe and aware of her because you know she's sneaky."
"Sneakier than a snake itself." I chuckled at my own joke.
"True. Just be careful. Okay?"
"I got you. I beat her ass once. I'll do it again." I smiled.
"That was more of a tie until you broke my nose." He frowned.
"I didn't even hit you. It was her." I huffed.
"Nah. It was you." He chuckled. "I'm not mad since it was an accident. People make mistakes."
"Yeah. Since I was mad at you that day, it probably wasn't an accident." I joked.
"Oh. Isn't that nice?"
I giggled. "Come on so we can get ready for the show."

Quite long, probably not long enough, probably boring too. She took the job and I wanted to show that she did.
Do. Not. Leave. Any. Negative. Comments.
I know some will be mad that she's taking the job, but I'm running out of ideas here and I don't August or her to do anything to ruin them and the original plot for this book will be used for the Between The Sheets tour since it didn't seem like August's character ;)
Do you think it's the original Aaliyah or a new one? (She never saw her face.)
How do you feel about Ki'Loni and Abbey?
How do you feel about August's and Jasmine's relationship?
Why do you think Trey wasn't in rehearsals?
Do you believe Abbey and Ki'Loni's reasoning for why Trey chose her?
