Your walk home was luxuriously, decadently peaceful. You had stopped at your coffee shop and gotten a matcha latte for the road, you now sipped it as you watched the world around you exist in this quiet, peaceful state. This, this is why you were a hero. To ensure that this atmosphere existed, people could laugh and smile and play without fear. You were working for the next ten days, so this final reprieve was everything you could ask for.

That's when you smelt it. Something was burning. Rubber, hot metal, and flesh. Your peace and quiet had officially come to an end, off duty or not, you were a hero and you would handle this. Activating your quirk, you became invisible and you ran towards the developing chaos. Upon your arrival, you realized that you weren't the only hero to heed the call, and for that you were thankful, because the creature before you was terrifying. You became visible again, if only to grab your friend's attention.

"Eraserhead, do you want to run point on this one, or do you want me to?" You nearly startled him, but he nodded as a greeting.

"You run point, I'll support and try to subdue him. Are you off duty today?" He asked, surprised as he checked you out. You looked good, no matter what you wore... you were the most beau- he stopped himself right there. There was a flame-oozing villain destroying cars and inciting panic. You charged in, trusting that Aizawa would be able to disable this flame quirk and allow you to land blows without getting burnt. Right as you were about to land a flying kick, his flames were extinguished. His body was whipped around, sending him to the sidewalk. He was monstrously bigger than both you and Aizawa, but it wasn't unexpected, the two of you were both on the more lithe side when it came to heroes. Someone like All Might or Endeavor, they looked like true giants in comparison. You smiled at the thought, they were large men, it would be funny to see them dressed in delicate pastels and floral patterns. Suddenly, you're slammed against a half melted car, you'd been bending over the villain to place the quirk erasing cuffs on him.

Y/-SPRITE!?" Aizawa screamed. You struggled to get up, your favorite turtleneck now burnt and smoking along your right side. You'd shed your outer layers at the onset of the fight, so you only wore leggings and a turtleneck, not as protective as your suit, but it was lightweight... and flammable. You followed your grade school education: stop, drop, and roll. The flames were put out, but the villain was now towering over you his quirk still not active. You were at a huge disadvantage, so you went invisible. This initially stunned the villain, you used this moment to throw him off balance. Spinning on the hot earth, your legs swept his out from under him. You would win, you'd arrest him. Aizawa's capture tape restrained his arms and legs, making him immobile, for that you were thankful. This time you snapped the cuffs on him, and you weren't thrown. You made yourself visible again. Your adrenaline was wearing off, what was this excruciating pain you were experiencing?

Police arrived and took the criminal into their custody, you clutched at your right shoulder. This was not how you expected your day off to go. "Y/N, let me help you home and take care of that wound. Ok?" Aizawa's gruff and tired voice was gentle and calming, something you'd started noticing ever since he started crashing on your couch. Whenever you were injured or hurt, his demeanor would change, and he'd almost coddle you.

"That sounds good Aizawa, could you carry my jacket and purse for me? I don't think I should put any weight on my shoulder." You looked into his eyes, his concern apparent. "Is it that bad? Should I just go to a hospital instead?" You asked him nonchalantly, you appreciated his concern, but were growing tired of this unnecessary worry. You both were heroes, injuries were always a possibility.

"No, I don't think they warrant a trip to the hospital, but they will if you don't start walking. You only live three or so blocks from here. Move it or lose it." His gruff nature returned, and it made you smile, you loved that he cared, but you didn't want to be smothered... at least you didn't want to be smothered right now.

As you both were walking away from the scene you heard an all to familiar booming voice.

"Y/N! Wait!" It was Enji Todoroki, in full hero regalia, and he was calling your name. You saw your friend stiffen, why was Enji doing this? He caught up to you two, not even winded.

"Y/N, you're injured. Why're you walking? Where are you walking?" His questions caught you off guard, who was this man and where did the callous and easy to hate Endeavor go?

"Enji, I'm going home. Aizawa's got my stuff. He'll help patch me up, it's nothing to extreme. I don't live too far from here, so it's ok for me to walk." You gave him a smile, you hoped it didn't look like a grimace, you were in a great deal of pain. The burns weren't being kind to you, neither was the fabric that had melted onto your body.

"It'll be much faster this way. Aizawa, I'll need you to follow with her things. Don't worry Y/N, I won't burn you." He whispered the last part into your ear as he gently picked you up. He cradled you against his chest in a way that barely agitated your injury. "Now, Y/N, direct me."

You were stunned for a moment. What in the world was going on, but then, you instructed the number 2 hero on how to get to your apartment. Despite fitting All Might in your home on multiple occasions, Enji was a different story. He filled spaces, he'd taken his mask off and sat at your kitchen table, allowing you privacy as you undressed yourself. Aizawa sat across from him, a weird expression on the underground hero's face.

They sat in silence, until they heard a thud.

"Y/N!?!" They exclaimed in unison and charged into your bedroom, Aizawa at the front, as he knew exactly where you were.

The sight they encountered would've been ideal, had you been uninjured and trying to be seductive. But, you weren't, you had on a clean pair of green high-waisted underwear, but it appeared that you'd gotten stuck trying to slip a light weight, flowing dress on. Your breasts were barely covered, but you hissed in pain at the fabric's contact with your shoulder.

"Enji, leave this to me. I've known her longer." Your monotone friend wasn't monotone at the moment. His voice commanded respect. Enji sputtered for a moment but left the room to return to his seat at the kitchen table. Aizawa crouched beside you, pulling the dress off and over your head.

"Y/N, you know you needed to wrap this first, right?" He asked, gentle once again.

"I couldn't reach, so I needed to get dressed to ask for help." You mumbled, tears pricking at your eyes. You were so embarrassed and in so much pain. The bruises were beginning to form along your side and thigh.

"This might sting, Y/N, but it'll help. Trust me." He had returned from your bathroom, hands washed and gauze in hand. He began applying burn cream, antibiotic cream, and gently wrapping the gauze around your arm, waist, and right thigh. He then pulled your soft dress over your head. The soft, blue dress no longer stung, it was comforting.

"Next time, please ask for help with this. Don't tell me you've got it under control and then.. have this happen. I'd rather if that -" He stopped himself before he could finish his near confession... hothead never saw another inch of your skin. That Endeavor... didn't deserve to see your skin like that. Aizawa had been your friend for many years, he'd earned his place. Many nights of drinking too much, you changing in front of him or beach trips with your friend group... You'd all in one way or another seen each other in some state of undress. That being said, he'd never seen you so vulnerable. "Now, let's get some water into you, and get the number two hero out of your apartment, how does that sound?" His voice was barely a whisper.

"That sounds like a plan Shota, thank you for taking care of me. I appreciate you." And with those words, he helped you stand, and the two of your left your room to face the nervous mess that you both knew as Endeavor.

Ah, what a splendid way to spend your day off.
