"GOTCHU BITCHES!" Emi screamed at the three of you, she'd tricked you all in the lying game. It was called Fibbage, and she'd done a great job, she'd won it three times now. You were giggling, a little tipsy and no longer in pain.
"My turn to pick a game Emi, can we do the rapping robots one in the newest pack? I'm SO BAD at it!" You kept laughing, remembering the last time you played it. Yamada went to set everything up, switching the game and waiting for it to load. While you waited, you went to fetch a glass of water for yourself and Aizawa. Glasses in hand, you stood by your entryway, watching your friends interact. You were so lucky to have such amazing friends that cared so much for you. You went to call out to Emi and Yamada, to ask them if they also wanted water when suddenly your door burst open, almost breaking off the hinges. You immediately crouched into a defensive stance, readying yourself for any potential attacks.
"Y/N!? Are you alright?!" The voice shouted, you all knew that voice.
"Toshi? Is that you?" You asked incredulously, he then stepped into the light, and your tall, blonde friend smiled before delicately picking you up into a hug. Not a single drop of water spilled. There he was, your hero, breaking down your door and making you smile. "You know, if you were that excited to see me, I could just give you a key." You giggled, no one else heard your comment, they were too focused on trying to repair the front door. Integrally speaking, it was fine... Aesthetically speaking, it was a bit damaged on the outside. His arms got tighter around you in response.
"I'd like that very much. Are you alright? Am I hurting you?" He set you down and you sighed, this man was such a joy. He was in a pair of black sweats and a hoodie, something you'd never seen before, as if he was coming from training or a long travel.
"I'm much better now Toshi, we were just about to play a robot rapping game, want to join? You just need your phone." You smiled and grabbed his hand, everyone rejoined you around the tv, Aizawa nabbed his seat before Toshinori could take it, Yamada and Emi sat in the two sofa chairs and Toshi sat where you had been, until he realized you did not have a seat. He was so big he took up a spot and a half, leaving you only half of a cushion to sit on.
"Y/N, let me sit on the floor, you need the comfort of your couch." He began to stand and you pushed him down, walking away to grab a pillow from your bed.
"Don't take this personally boys, but I have to lay on my side. So, Aizawa, get comfy the heavy part is coming your way, and Toshi, I promise I wash my feet." With that, you put your pillow in Aizawa's lap and your feet in Toshi's lap. Definitely the most ideal situation.
"OKAY! GAME TIME!" Yamada called out, everyone had their names entered, yours was "ShadowSpyke" everyone else had some good names too, except Toshi, who had never played the game before put "Toshinori."
"Toshi, you gotta put a different name, come on, let me give you a name. I promise you'll like it." Emi giggled as she grabbed his phone and changed his name.
"There, Tosh'nauty. A much better rap name. Let's play!" And with those words, the game started. Silence engulfed the crowd as everyone wrote lyrics to try and win the separate battles. The time came to an end and the first round began. Your raps faced off against Yamada's, Emi's raps against Toshi's, and Aizawa was stuck against the CPU. Yamada, Emi, and Aizawa came out the victors, and that painted the clear hierarchy for the rest of the game.
"Aw man! At least I beat the CPU and Toshi! I think you might've let me win though..." You poked Toshi with your finger, having sat up at this point, squeezed between your two friends. He looked down at you, pure shock on his face.
"WHAT!? I would never! I tried my best! I don't think rapping is my strong suit... but I'll practice and I'll show you!" He sounded so passionate about the game it made the rest of you giggle. This man was insanely pure. The clock now read 10:00 PM, Emi and Yamada began to pack up. Aizawa helped clean up your living room, you went to stand, but Toshinori grabbed your waist gently and pulled you back. "Let us take care of you, you're always doing the most for us. Just sit back. We will be back ok?" Then he stood and helped put the food and drinks into your fridge. Aizawa did the dishes, and Emi and Yamada chatted while they wrapped up cords and reorganized your tv. You'd been responding quietly to their commentary, but now, you were oddly silent.
"Y/N, were the books like this? Or like this?" Emi asked, you didn't answer, so she turned around. "Awww, guys come look! She fell asleep! She never falls asleep when people are around like this, she must've been exhausted." She snapped a picture of you snuggling your pillow under the throw blanket. Toshinori had finished putting away the food and organizing the kitchen and Aizawa had finished doing the dishes. He then began organizing your tv room, he knew where everything went anyway. Toshinori slipped his hands around you and carefully pulled you up into his arms. Yamada and Emi watched as he carried you into your bedroom.
"Why won't he just... admit to himself and to her that he loves her?" Emi asked, the exhaustion was finally hitting her. Yamada had to be careful of his reaction, he was one of the few people that had an idea about why Toshinori Yagi had not confessed or confronted Y/N about his feelings, but no one else was supposed to know, especially because he wasn't even supposed to know and not even the Great All Might knew that he knew...
"He probably doesn't want to put her in danger or disappoint her. You know Toshi, always the perfectionist." Emi agreed with him, ending the conversation. Aizawa had finished cleaning with a sigh and went to check on you and the big guy. Emi and Yamada were heading to their car, they planned on driving him home.
"Toshi, it's time to leave-" He stopped in his tracks, as Toshinori Yagi was sitting on the floor, his hand stuck in your vice like grip, not allowing him to leave. "Ah, don't worry Tosh, it's an easy fix. Here, she does this when she's drunk, and she has yet to win. Massage her hand like this, and wah-lah, she will let go." This entire explanation had been given at a delicate whisper, Toshi's hand was free, but he didn't stand up.
"I appreciate your help, but I think, I'm going to stay here. In this spot, I can't move right now. I'll see you tomorrow Aizawa. Please lock the door after you, as I said, I can't quite get up." Toshi whispered even quieter. Almost ashamed about what he was saying.
"No worries, have a good night." The underground hero responded, more melancholic than usual and left. Once the door had been closed, Toshi got up, his body began to steam and deflate. He then, got into bed behind you, the big skinny ladle for your cuddling. His arms wrapped around you, he exhaled into your hair, he'd dreamt of this moment since he had met you. In his dreams, he was All Might, big and strong not this form. He knew he needed to leave, you couldn't find him like this, he couldn't disgust you with this form.
Until, you snuggled back into him. You murmured words in your sleep.
"What was that?" He asked breathlessly, unsure about whether or not he'd heard you right.
"I want you to stay here tonight Toshi. I hate sleeping alone." And with those words, you were fast asleep. Dead to the world. The big hero sighed again. This was a terrible idea, but he'd promised to take care of you, and he would never break his word to you.
