"How long have you two dated?" A blonde cheerleader asked.

"Who knows..." I replied.

"Now, now, honey, be nice." Rob said with a smile as he placed an arm around my shoulders.

"I am. This is me being nice."

"Would you like some beer?" He changed the subject.

"No, because I don't want to be left alone with her. I know what you're trying to do." I whispered closely.

"You guys are so intimate. Couples need that for a relationship to work." The blondie smiled.

"..." I just gave her a glare which says 'Really? Please stop.' which thankfully made her scamper away.

"Okay that's it, I'm adding 'Be nice or at least pretend to be nice' in front of other people when were together as one of the terms because you are so embarrassing me here." He said.

"Sure." I smiled a fake one.

Making him squirm is kind of fun.

"Can I go home now?" I asked.

"Uh, right after I introduce you to the whole team and their girlfriends." He smiled a fake one back.

"No way. That's just... boring."

"Welcome to my world."

"I think I'd like some beer now please." I told him.

"Be right back."

Hey, having a boyfriend doesn't seem so bad after all... even if it's just pretend.

I get to boss someone around which is cool.

"Hello." A blonde jock with baby blue eyes and a baby face approached me all of a sudden.

"Hi." I greeted and then I turned my back to him.

"You don't know me, do you?" He asked with an Irish accent.

"Um, am I supposed to?" I turned to face him again which was very tiring.

"We have the same classes." He smiled.

"Oh." That makes him a sophomore then.

"I don't really know anyone from my class so I think it's fair for the rest of our classmates if I don't know you too..." I gave him the cold shoulder.

"Niall Horan. There, I said my name so now you know me." He chuckled.

"Okay... but I'll probably just forget it anyway."

"Then I'll just have to do something crazy so that you won't EVER forget me." And with this said, he removed his jacket and then his white shirt.

"You think that I'll be able to remember you if you just flash me your bare chest? Are you drunk?" I arched an eyebrow.

"Maybe a little." He confessed.

"And do you have any idea as to who I am?"

"Yeah, you're Cher."

"No, she's my girlfriend so back off, dude." Rob finally came back.

"Oh. I'm sorry, I didn't know, man." He looked at me and then to Rob.

"It's okay... at least I get to see your chest."

"What?"

"I said it's okay. It's no big deal. You're still my favorite quarterback." Rob flashed him a big smile.

Then the blonde guy who was apparently my classmate, scampered away.

"I have something to tell you." I faced him.

"Me too." Rob handed me my beer which I gulped down in seconds.

"I'll go first anyway. I'm secretly crushing on that guy... I was just playing it cool so that he wouldn't notice." I blurted out my deepest, darkest secret.

"Seriously? Because he's the boy that I'm talking to you about... the one that I fancy." He said seriously.

"Oh. I guess we have the same taste in men then." I joked but this didn't seem to affect him at all.

"You can have him. I mean, it's just a crush and for me that's nothing serious. I can tell that you like him a lot especially when you were staring at his chest." Although I'm not saying that I'll stop liking Niall in secret...

"Nah, it's no big. I have plenty of other crushes in school but you can help me win Horan if you like." He winked at me like a real pro player.

"I should go. I don't really fit in with all these people around you." I said.

"Sure. Wait here, I'll let them know that we're leaving already."

"I can go home by myself..." I mumbled after he left.

Somehow, I felt drawn to the pool so I decided to chill for a bit by dipping my feet into the cold water.

Honestly, I didn't really like to admit to myself that I have a thing for the quarterback because that's just way too cliche.

And besides, he already has a lot of girls swooning over him.

"You stand out like a sore thumb. What are you doing here anyway?" Some guy with a dirty blonde hair and striking blue eyes with a lip piercing sat down next to me.

"Excuse me?" Where'd he come from?

"I was right across the pool when my eyes landed on this girl who was staring off in space so I decided to come over here to keep you company." He explained.

"Is that your best pick-up line?" I scoffed.

"Hey, I just want us to be friends. There's no need to rush. Unless you want to... I'm Luke and you are?" He said pretty arrogantly.

"Get lost."

"That's a pretty name. How about we skip the 'getting to know you' part and just head out of here? What do you say?"

"I don't think so." I started to get up.

"You're the sore thumb around here." I retorted back pretty late.

"I'm a party crasher." He smiled which revealed his dimples.

Oh crap. I have a weakness for dimples...

"And I'm pretty bored now so... goodbye." I walked away.

I decided to just walk all the way home for some reason.

He kept on following me though.
