*LUKE'S POV*

"I know I'm just a boy but I have feelings too, you know."

"What are you trying to say, Luke?"

"Where did you sleep last night?" I questioned her.

"At Rob's place." She said casually.

"And you didn't even bother to call me?" I pressed further.

"Well, I didn't want to waste my load."

"Okay, that's it! I've had it with you!" I cornered her to a wall then forced a kiss on her.

"What is wrong with you?" She hastily pushed me away.

"I'm jealous, can't you tell?"

"Finally."

"I'm sorry... wait, what?" What did she just say?

"I was trying to get an emotion out of you to see if you really do like me..." She bit her lip and this turned me on all the more.

So she was testing me, huh?

"Does this mean I passed?" I smirked playfully.

She just grabs my shirt in response, crashing her lips into mine with a passionate kiss as she jumped in order to wrap her legs around my waist.

"Wake up, Lucas!" Someone pinched my cheeks.

"Ow!" I fluttered my eyes open only to find Cher wearing a disgusted look on her face.

"Hey, did you just moan in your sleep?" She asked.

"No." I quickly denied.

"Well, whatever you were dreaming of, let's just hope I'm not in it." She said sarcastically.

*CHER'S POV*

"Hey." Niall sat next to me at lunch.

"This is a surprise. Why aren't you sitting with your boyfriend?" I teased him as I pointed to Louis' direction.

"Actually, I'm here because of him. He wanted me to ask you if you were possibly interested in drama club..." He took a bite of his apple in slow motion... in my point of view that is.

He can't possibly be seducing... I mean distracting me with a fruit now... can he?

"Why can't he just ask me this himself?" I redirected my eyes to his baby blue ones.

"Because you two don't get along. He was afraid that he'd say something awful to you before you even tried out for a role." He opens his carton of milk this time and was about to drink it very manly, I bet when I stopped him.

"What's the play about?" I asked.

"Wizard of Oz."

"Will you be taking part in this production?"

"Yeah, I have to since I promised him. I'm playing the Prince." He says proudly.

"But there is no Prince in the Wizard of Oz..." I carefully analyzed.

"Oh. Then he probably just wants me to be the 'eye candy' of the show or something in order to gain an audience." He didn't seem to mind at all.

"So, will you audition later? Auditions are only on Fridays." He stared intensely at me.

"I'll think about it..." I had to look away.

What is up with his mesmerizing stares?!

*LATER THAT DAY*

"I'm glad you could make it!" Niall beamed at me.

"Sure. Where's the line for the audition?" I looked around the auditorium.

"Line? Well, people in our school aren't really that interested... in acting." He fidgeted.

"I see." I have a bad feeling about this.

"Cher! What a surprise!" Bridgit suddenly appeared.

"Let me guess, you're playing Dorothy?"

"Duh. I'm always the lead girl. What are you playing for?" She asked me as she linked arms with me.

"I'm glad you asked." Louis appeared in his tin man costume.

"She's obviously perfect for the Wicked Witch of the West!" He says.

"And she doesn't even need a costume for it." He added.

"As if I'd actually agree to that. I'm out of here." I was about to walk away but Bridgit stopped me from doing so.

"Cher, please do the play with me! It won't be any fun without you! We could trade roles if you like..." She pouted.

"On second thought, I'd be willing to play the witch as long as I get to zap the tin man or something..." It'd be so much fun zapping Louis for real.

"What do you say, Louis?" Niall asked.

"Like I have any other choice. We're practically short on people here and as a professional, I can't afford to be 'choosy' right now. All we're missing is the Scarecrow and we're good to go." He announced.

"Who's going to play the wizard?" I got curious.

"Why me of course! I'm good at playing multiple roles. Heck, I should be in Broadway right now." Louis said in an arrogant way.

"He took on three roles at our last play. The guy's got a gift for juggling characters." Niall whispered to me for no reason.

"Here's your script. I'm expecting you to memorize it by next week." Louis handed me a booklet.

What just happened?

******

"Girl, you've got issues about succumbing to blondes." Rob flipped a page from his magazine.

"Blondes are my weakness whether I like it or not..." I sighed.

"So Niall and Bridgit got you to do a lame-ass play written by Louis whom you despise a lot... how is that possible?" He asked.

"I don't know. I think that I wasn't completely myself earlier. Clearly, I wasn't thinking at all." Now I'm starting to regret things.

"Are you even into acting?" He inquired.

"Sort of. I mean, I don't exactly hate it."

"Okay, let me rephrase the question, are you good at acting?"

"Who knows? Maybe I have potential. So will you let me do the play or not?" I asked for his permission.

"Sure, hon. As long as I get to videotape the whole thing." He smiled sheepishly.

Such a loving boyfriend I have. Note the sarcasm.
