Last night, I fell asleep on Liam's bed while waiting for his folks to return.

Liam had to drive me home because his mother insisted.

She said it wasn't safe for a young pretty girl like me to be walking around late at night... which I'm used to by the way.

He didn't talk to me since I teased him a little at lunch though.

I think he might be mad at me. The boy's too sensitive.

Okay, note to self: do not tease a mama's boy... just kidding.

He's just TOO nice and nice guys just aren't my thing.

Well, Niall's an exception.

I was actually kind of hoping that he has this 'hidden' bad boy side to him... not that I prefer bad boys... like the 'one' heading towards me right now.

"Hey babe, missed me?" Luke greeted me by my locker.

"Nope. Did you?" I asked back.

"What?

"Missed me..." I rolled my eyes.

"Like I'd tell you that." He clicked his tongue.

"Okay, now I'm just confused. I thought you were hitting on me but then... I don't know." I can't figure him out alright.

"I've decided to establish a love-hate relationship between us since it's more fun that way." He explained.

"I still don't get it. We have a relationship? Since when?" I had to ask.

"Since we slept together---" I shut him up by placing a hand over his mouth.

"Quiet! People will hear you. I thought we've already established that it was just a one time thing? Mistakes happen when people get drunk." I gazed seriously into his baby blue eyes.

"No, YOU'VE established that. I never said anything about 'a one time thing'." He said seriously.

"Oh. So what you're saying is that our one night stand 'meant' something to you? Is that it?"

"Maybe."

Maybe? That's all he has to say?!

"Whoa, you're way too close with my girlfriend, dude. I think you should back it up a little." Rob separated us gently.

"Girlfriend?" Luke squinted his eyes at Rob then turned back to me with a scrutinizing look on his face.

"Yeah, pal. She's taken so go hit on someone else." Rob had a serious look on his face which looked pretty believable.

"This isn't over." Luke told me before he took off.

"Great acting skills." I praised Rob.

"I know. Anyway, what's with the tension in the atmosphere? I have no idea why all three of us had a 'serious look' thing going on just awhile back." He shrugged.

"I'll tell you the details later. Bye."

"Hold up, aren't you forgetting something?" He grabbed a hold of me then pointed at his right cheek.

"Oh. Yeah, your make-up totally looks natural." I examined his face up close.

"No, that's not what I meant... a little public display of affection would be good." He whispered.

So I gave him a quick peck on the cheek then hurriedly scampered off.

"I can't believe I got a loser like you as my lab partner." I sighed out loud.

"Trust me, the feeling's mutual." Louis the geek says.

"Hey Louis." Niall greeted him as he passed by our table without even bothering to look at me.

That's odd. Why didn't he greet me? I thought we were starting to become 'friends'.

"What was that?"

"Ignorance. I mean, I'd probably do the same thing too if I found out that this 'new friend' of mine cheated on her boyfriend... with my sister." Louis shook his head in disapproval.

"What are you getting at?" I shot him an annoyed look.

"Oh, you'll find out before the day ends. I'm sure of it." He fixed his glasses in place.

"Hey, what's with the rumors about us dating?" A pretty blonde girl confronted me during the last period.

Oh. I get it now. The lie Rob told Ash finally backfired.

"Wait, your Niall's sister?" I remembered what Louis told me earlier.

"I have a name, Bridgit, and you are?" She crossed her arms.

For some reason, she kind of reminds me of the girl from 'Mean Girls'. The Queen Bee.

"Cher. Listen hon, I don't know who started the rumors but pay no attention to it, will you?" I placed an arm around her shoulders.

"Are you kidding me? I can't have some stupid rumor going on around just because you told me to ignore it. This could ruin my reputation!" She stepped away from me.

"Calm down, princess. I'll fix this right about... now. Okay, listen up, people! Bridgit and I are NOT dating. End of story." I hollered by the lockers.

"Happy now?" I turned back to her.

"No. I just realized that no one has EVER been 'not' interested in me before... until now and I ought to change that." She grabbed me by the shirt and the next thing that happened was pretty vivid.

I wasn't so sure if I was just daydreaming or what but all I heard were people cheering us on.

And then I finally snapped back to reality when her lips weren't on mine anymore...

What the hell just happened?!

******

"I'm sorry, you were saying?" Rob was having a rather difficult time controlling his laughter.

"Are you done now?" I waited for him to stop.

"Hold on just a second..." Then he continues to laugh his heart out.

"Stop laughing, Rob. It's NOT funny." I scolded him.

"Oh but it is for me. Sorry." He tried his best to stop.

"It's all your fault in the first place. If you haven't told Ash such a lie then---"

"Forget about the douche. Let's go back to your story, so you were trying to fix the rumors and then she kisses you out of nowhere just to prove something... I wish I'd skip practice today just to see that!" He teased.

"I didn't see that coming." I admit that I'm still shocked up until now.

I mean, she's basically my first kiss if we talk about flirting with the same gender and all... not that I was flirting with her.

It just sort of happened way too fast for me to register what was actually going on.

"I forgot to tell you that Bridgit can be such a... well, the exact opposite of her brother." Rob pondered.

"She's gay?"

"No, I was trying to go for 'unpredictable' but who knows? Maybe she is..." He shrugged.

"Now everyone thinks that there really is something going on between us... what do I do?"

"I'll take care of it." He smiles sheepishly.
