*Picture of their house*
When I woke up rose was already gone. I walked into the kitchen to find something to eat. My stomach was very mad at me because I haven't eaten anything since lunch yesterday. I found some eggs in the fridge.
I crack some into a pan and begin to think.
Today I have to try to figure out what I'm good at. How do I do that though? I guess I'll just have to try stuff out till I find something.
After I'm done doing this I'll go make a list of things I'll try. I kept thinking along those lines for a while and pretty soon the smell started to make my eyes water. I look down and realized I've stopped stirring them and the bottom layers are practically black.
Oh well, I'll just eat out this morning.
I dump the eggs in the garbage and leave the pan in the sinkI walk in my room to find something presentable to wear and I end up with some black jeans and a black and white striped shirt and a black jacket. I don't feel like doing with my hair so I just straighten it and put a beanie on. I find a little black purse that I hang on my shoulder and put my phone (which I just found out I had), some money, a little notepad, and all the other good stuff.
I don't have a car but we aren't far from a small district, Rose has told me about so I just end up walking. It is a good 20 minutes away but I don't mind. The weather is nice, still a little wet from yesterday, but it is sunny.
The district is cool, it has various eating places, shopping stores, cute Cafe's, and has a movie theater, and they are all within walking distance from each other.
I read their reviews online and choose to eat at a Café in the heart of the district. I take a seat at the window and pull out my phone it looks like it is brand new. My only contact is Rose. I don't have any call history. I don't have any social media and my only game is word search.
A waitress is standing next to me and I realize she asked me a question.
"I'm sorry what did you say?"
"I asked if you wanted the usual?" She said. I had no idea what she was talking about so I just told her yes.
Either they have a usual item on the menu or I've been here before.I'm willing to bet on the second. I turn off my phone and pull out my notepad and begin to write to my to-do list
-find stuff I'm good at
-try different hobbies
-get a job
I decide to add one more thing to the list
-find people who knew me
I figured this would be a good place to start because if I have a "usual" then I've probably been here a lot. I also make a mental note to ask Rose any other places I liked to go to.
I try to think of other ways I can complete my tasks but something makes me look up. There's someone who walked in.
How I would describe him is drop dead gorgeous. He had dark red hair and looked like he belonged on a Hollywood set. I didn't even realize I was staring at him until he looked my way and smiled.
I looked back down at my notepad and pretended to start writing something down. When he looked away from me I looked back up at him. He was talking to the person at the counter and then sat down on the other side of the room. He looked at me again and I looked back down. I silently scolded myself and tried to get back to work. I couldn't think tho. I finally decided to take a picture of him as proof to Rose later. I zoomed my camera in on him and took the picture. I could have looked at that for a long time but the waitress came by with my food.
