chapter fourteen

"Rose is it alright if I use your car tomorrow?"

We just got back from a movie and she was in a really good mood.

"What for?"

"I wanted to go to the hospital and learn more about where they found me."

"Why don't you just ask Adrian?"

Why don't I?

"You said he was bad news and I respect your... Um... Judgment."

"Sure." She said then added, "you can use it on one condition."

"What?"

"You have to let me go shopping for you. Me and Clara are taking tomorrow to get us both some outfits for a new convention thing our company is doing and want you to come with me."

"Why would I want to come with you to your boring work stuff."

"It's not boring and because you don't get to use my car if you don't."

I agreed. I didn't mind going with Rose it was just instinct to disagree with her.

I went to bed and the next morning I got up early got dressed and hopped into Rose's sweet car. I loved this car, the only thing that would make it better was to put it in black and to have a stereo system.

I decided to stop by at the hospital first because they were kind of familiar with me already. When I walked in it was the same as when I left.

"Hi, Mia what brings you here?" The woman at the front desk said

I realized I didn't know what to ask for so I just straight out asked her my question.

"Does the hospital have my case file?" She was taken back and looked at me wide-eyed.

"Why do you want that?"

"It's a personal matter."

"Right I'm sorry. I'll see what we've got." She got on her computer eyes never leaving the screen.

It should be pretty obvious what I want with my case file. I want to know what the crap happened to me.

I stood there for a good five minutes before she finally said.

"I'm sorry but the only person who would be able to get you that would be Dr. Hans."

"Alright then bring me to my doctor."

I followed her through a number of hallways and finally, we reached a hospital room.

"He is with another patient right now would you mind waiting?"

"Sure why not?" It took a little bit but soon enough he walked out and surprised delight crossed over his face.

"Mia, what brings you here?" He asked walking over to me.

"I'm looking for my case file and they told me you could get it for me."

"I'm not sure anything but I'll for sure try. Here follow me." We walked halfway across the building until, finally, we stopped in front of an office. He sat up to his computer and started searching stuff up.

"We have half of it but none of the details. The olive told us they were putting it on a close investigation and took the file from us for safety reasons."

"What do you guys have?"

"We have your injuries and basic information."

" Do you think you could get me a copy of that?"
