Hearing music playing through my ears, I looked out the window to see the wings of the airplane gliding in the clouds. A book in my hand and a blanket on my lap.
I missed him
I missed all of him.
"Mel.."
"Jungkook.."
He took his seat next to me and placed the blanket over his lap. He leaned his head on my shoulders and gently closed his eyes. I looked back outside to see the light up sky with the white clouds.
"Do you think he might make it?"
"I don't understand what you mean Jungkook?"
"Yoongi. I mean Yoongi. Is he going to be okay? Is he going to come back to us?"
I nodded and let out a loud sigh.
"Are you okay Mel?"
"Yea, just tired."
"Then you should be sleeping, not reading and looking out into mid-space."
"But it's beautiful outside and It's calming me down a bit."
"Then what's gotten you all...Stressed?"
"My family."
"They contacted you?"
Jungkook raised his head from my shoulder and pulled my face to face him properly.
"Did they contact you? But how?"
"What do you mean how?"
"...I'm not supposed to tell you.."
"Jeon Jungkook. Tell. Me."
He sighed.
"Your parents are under...Hold."
"What?"
"They are being watched. The police found some sort of evidence of these people looking for your family and were planning a kill. So the police took in your parents and any family member who has contact with you or your parents. All they need is you. All of you. But some refuses to listen to the rules and protect you instead."
"Who??"
"Yoongi."
"What? We are not on the same page here!"
"Ummm...Hold on Mel."
Jungkook Pov:
I got out of my seat to find Jin hyung. He is the one that holds all the answers to this family and I need him to explain everything to Mel. To be fully honest, she deserves to hear all the information that involves the incident with her older brother and the reason why Mark hired her as a detective.
"Jin hyung!"
Jin put down his magazine that he was reading and looked at me as he tilted his head.
"Mel needs the answer to the problem."
Jin nodded his head and got up from his seat. I sat where he was, next to Hosoeok and saw Jin figure go towards Mel's seat.
"What's up?"
I looked over to Hoseok, awake from his nap, looking at me surprised.
"Mel was curious about...The problem so I sent Jin to talk to her."
"Okay, figured it was about time."
"Yea. Finally."
