Resu's mind immediately drifted back to the words Mitsurai had spoken to her before.
I also noticed you were in the gym this morning. You should probably stay out of it today.
Her eyes widened in realization and she stared blankly at the ground.
Perhaps she would have to act earlier than she wanted to.
Rage consuming her, she barely noticed when the rest of the cleanup crew had dispersed, presumably to go tell a teacher. Resu held her hand up to her face, flexing her fingers slowly. She moved her gaze to the gym and decided to inspect the damage done.
As she neared the building, she noticed the volleyball club gathered outside it. They looked disappointed and Resu felt a pang of guilt in the pit of her stomach. It was technically her fault that this happened, as she was the one Mitsurai had chosen to have a grudge against.
Wanting to avoid them, she retreated and went to the other set of doors before peeking into the gymnasium. The floor was scratched and peeling and splattered with red paint. Clearly, it was unusable, and Resu could only feel her agitation increasing.
Automatically, Resu asked herself where Mitsurai was. She was in the tennis club, right? And she was wearing gym wear when she left the locker room...
Resu took off at a sprint.

Since they couldn't have practice today due to the ruined gymnasium, the boys decided to leave. The air was tense around them. What were they going to do? Golden Week was a few days away and now they weren't able to use the gym, which was the worst possible scenario in any case.
Tanaka, Nishinoya, and Asahi walked together, chatting amongst themselves.
"If I find out who did that, I swear to god, I'm going to fucking fight them," Tanaka growled with Nishinoya yelling in agreement.
Asahi frowned uncomfortably at the mention of violence although he was just as upset as they were.
"Who do you think did it though? And why?" Nishinoya asked, his brown eyes flashing with ferocity.
"Someone thought it would be a fun prank, probably," Asahi replied bitterly.
The two were stopped short, however, as Tanaka put his arm out to stop them from moving. He was staring at something in front of them, around the corner from their position next to a wall.
"What is it, Ryu?" Nishinoya peeked around the corner and froze slightly. Confused now, Asahi followed their actions and looked as well.
About ten feet away from them with her back to them, Resu stood in front of three girls, her shoulders stiff.
"I know you did it, Mitsurai," she said coldly. "This is getting old fast. Just admit you did and I can move onto more important things."
The girl named Mitsurai laughed, winking at Resu.
"You don't even have any proof I did it, Resu-chan. Besides, it's not like I would ever confess to it anyways."
Resu shook her head, pulling something out of her bag. Mitsurai froze, her carefree expression gone and replaced by fear.
"Is that...?"
"Yep," Resu responded, spinning something around on her finger. "Footage of you and your two little followers wrecking the gym. Funny how security cameras work, huh?"
"Give that to me," Mitsurai hissed, trying to snatch the disc from Resu's grasp.
But Resu was taller and easily moved her hand higher, out of Mitsurai's reach. The light haired girl glared at Resu, her eyes flaming and her mouth set in a thin line.
